She wanted to slam the door, run to her room and scream as fast as possible. At the same time she wanted to run into his arms and stay there forever. She couldn't move though, no matter how hard she tried to, she couldn't. Her emotions were mixed, which was strange to her. Usually she knew herself well enough to know exactly how she felt and exactly what to decide. Another tear rolled down her cheek as he stood right in front of her.

He looked just as broken as she did. His hair was messy and longer than he would usually let it grow. His clothes were crinkled and in his eyes there was hurt, a replica of her eyes. They both hated themselves for doing this to each other.

Taylor now had tears wildly flooding her cheeks. She didn't want to look this shattered in front of him, but she knew she wouldn't have been able to hide it anyway. Just like the past week, she couldn't stop her constant tears.

"I need you, Taylor," he finally spoke. His words only destroyed her more and her body started to tremble like she had seen a ghost. He wanted to comfort her, but as much as he hated to admit it, he knew that it wasn't his place to do so anymore.

She knew what she would risk if she forgave him. She looked into his eyes and searched for dishonesty or anything that would tell her to run as fast as she could. But she was unsuccessful, only finding honesty, pain and love.

She gave up. That was the only option she had in reality. She ran into his arms and held onto him for dear life. His arms wrapped around her body, right where they belonged. His head rested in the crook of her neck. Taylor's skin filled with goose bumps as he breathed into her neck gently. He was relieved, he didn't know what he would have done if she had slammed the door in his face.

He walked inside her house with her still in his arms and reached back to shut the door. Her face was buried in his chest and the couple began to drop to the ground in their reuniting hug. There they were, sitting on the ground just in front of the door wrapped in each other's embrace. He could feel her tears falling onto his shirt, but her breathing was becoming much calmer. He kissed her head over and over again. She breathed in his scent that she had missed so much which made her smile. It was the first time she had smiled since he left and she loved how it made her feel. He had missed her so much, tears began to fill his eyes. The thought of leaving her forever had made him miserable.

They stayed like that for half an hour until Taylor heard a soft sniffle. She pulled her head away from Adam's chest for the first time and looked up at him. She found that he was crying too and hugged him even tighter. She had never witnessed him cry before.

"I missed you so much, Tay. I'm so sorry, for everything,"

"No, it was my fault. I'm sorry," she said. Their initial fight had been about the way Adam had tried to give the paparazzi a piece of his mind after they had asked him an inappropriate question about his and Taylor's sex life. He had previously promised Taylor that the paparazzi and the media didn't bother him, and that he wouldn't let it have an effect on their relationship.

By the time he had left her, their fight had escalated and Taylor and Adam had fought about everything and anything. Taylor didn't like to yell when she was angry, especially not at Adam. She didn't think it was an effective way to get her emotions across. But that time she had no choice, there was yelling and there was crying. When Adam told Taylor that he regretted ever meeting her, she felt ruined. She instantly stopped yelling and told him to leave. He hadn't even tried to put up a fight to stay like she had expected. He just left like it was nothing to him, like she was nothing to him. That wasn't true though, because Taylor had no idea how hard it was for him to leave that day. They were both being stubborn and unfair, and now they realised this.

He lifted her chin up to face him and he gave her the most passionate, deep kiss either of them had ever experienced.

"I love you," she said, looking into his eyes.

"I love you, too," he promised. In that moment she began to feel him becoming hard.

"Really?" she laughed through her tears.

"Hey, I missed you many different ways," he defended.

"I did too," she winked.

He stood with his love still in his arms and carried her to their bedroom. She smiled as he set her down on her bed. He climbed over her and placed kisses everywhere on her face. She giggled and he stopped and stared at her for a moment. Even after her endless crying and sleepless nights, she still looked so beautiful. She didn't look damaged like she did when she first opened the door to him. He was surprised that he had actually survived that week without her.

She reached for his face and pulled it down to hers, attaching her lips to his. She had missed his soft lips so terribly. They knew that they had some things that they still needed to discuss, but that could wait until the next day.

They continued to make out, which led to some hot, passionate love making. A week apart felt like a year to them. Taylor was relieved that he had come back, she knew that she wouldn't have been able to live without him. Adam promised her and himself that he was never going to leave her again. Even if it was only a week, it was the most horrid week of both of their lives.
