Taylor's P.O.V

Every year, a few weeks before Christmas, my mum insists that everyone in our family has to have family photos done. It has now become a tradition. I think that's where my love of photo booths came from. This year, all the photos were being taken at my parents' house.

This may seem like a fairly simple task, but trust me, it's absolutely hectic. There are usually about 40 family members who take part, this includes many hyper kids and screaming babies. Every year the event has taken a whole day and this year, tomorrow is that day.

"Okay, so we will see you in the morning at nine," I spoke to my mum through my phone.

"And Adam's going to be in the photos?" she asked slyly.

"Yes, Mum," I could sense that she was smiling.

"I'm so proud of you honey,"

"Thanks?" I laughed, slightly confused.

"No seriously, you've never allowed one of your boyfriends to be the family photos before,"

"Yeah, well I guess I've never been sure about anyone before," I said causing mum to squeal a little. I laughed, we said our goodbyes and I hung up the phone.

Just as I finished talking with my mum Adam came out of the bathroom.

"You're so cute, Tay," he said, approaching me in a strong hug. I pulled away and looked at him in confusion. "I heard you on the phone to your mum," he explained, smiling, "and do you know what I think?"

"What's that?" I asked.

"I think that I have never been sure about anyone before either," he answered, kissing my cheek. I kissed his lips in reply.

"Come on, we should go to sleep. We have to be at my parents' house by 9," I said pulling him towards my bed.

"I love you, Adam," I said as he wrapped his arms around my body.

"I love you, too," he promised, placing a peck on my head.

The next morning, I woke being softly shaken. I opened my eyes to find Adam sitting on my side of the bed, smiling.

"Morning babe," he whispered.

"Good morning," I responded, rubbing my eyes.

"Breakfast is ready," he said before pecking my forehead.

"What's the time?" I smiled.

"Almost 7, and your parents' house is 10 minutes away, so we have almost 2 hours until we need to leave," Adam said, helping me out of bed.

He held my hand and led me downstairs to the kitchen. On the counter there were two plates with bacon and eggs on toast on them.

"Thank you, baby, it was delicious," I said after we had finished eating.

"You're welcome," Adam said. Then he paused for a moment, "Babe, are you sure that you want me to be in these photos?"

"Of course! Why wouldn't I?" I asked slowly.

"It's just that, does your family want me to be there? I mean we're not married, or even engaged, even though I already have plans about changing that soon. I just-" I interrupted him, grinning at the idea of him proposing to me.

"Woah, Adam, you don't need to worry about that. You've met most of the people who are going to be there and they love you! There's only like, four people who you don't know, but trust me, my parents never shut up about you. They ramble on to everyone about you and how great we are as a couple. I'm sure that everyone will love you almost as much as I do," I reassured him.
