"Left. LEFT!" Donald cried as the gummy ship careened headlong through an asteroid field. The ship was crying out with every alarm it contained, blasting the eardrums of all inside.
"I'm trying! There are so many!" Sora replied. He strained against the controls as he tried to navigate the field of floating rocky death.
"Hyuck, we're in a ship Donald. It's port, not left!"
Donald shot him a glare that was rendered ineffective by the flashing red lights.
"We're almost through, just hang on guys!" Sora yelled.
After two more powerful impacts that caused the ship to shudder erratically, a calm finally settled. The crew let out a sigh of relief.
"Chip, Dale, how are we looking?" Sora called out.
A high pitched echo replied from the depths of the ship.
"We're at 39% proficiency. We will have to find somewhere to land soon, or we wont make it back home!"
Sora scanned the radar in vain.
"This is bad. There are no planets anywhere near us..."
Suddenly he felt something. A familiar pull, a presence he recognized through years of contact. The pull of heartless.
"Hey, do you guys feel that?" He asked.
"Uhh...feel what? Goofy asked. He looked at Donald who merely shrugged.
"Never mind. I think there's a planet nearby, but the radar isn't picking it up for some reason."
"Guys, GUYS!!" Chip scurried up from the bowels of the gummy ship.
"What is it?!" Sora Donald and Goofy asked in unison.
"The gyros are going berserk! We're being pulled into a planet, and fast!"
Sora looked back at his radar, searching for the ghost planet. He only saw the blip of his own ship, but he saw that Chip was right. They were being pulled, and fast.
"G-guys! Hold on to something!" He cried. Donald grabbed his controller, Chip scurried back down to the engine room. Goofy grabbed Donald.
Looking out the thick glass, they still saw no planet, but flames were building around the ship.
"We-we're going to crash!" Sora yelled.
"Hang on!" Goofy cried.
"Let go of me Goofy!" Donald warbled.
The ship was gaining speed. Equipment was flinging around the ship, alarms resumed their blaring, Goofy was crying, and still nothing could be seen from outside their ship.
"Wait...what's that?!" Sora asked. Finally, light pierced through the glass, indicating a previously unseen sun. Clouds parted to make way for the crashing ship, revealing a land below of lush forest and sea.
"G-gawrsh...it's so beautiful!" Goofy commented in awe.
The gummy ship was engulfed in a blue flame hurtling through the air at impossible velocity.
"A-aim for the water, Sora!" Donald cried in fear.
"The controller is impossible to move. Give me a hand!" Donald and Goofy both struggled to get to Sora's side, then grabbed hold of the joystick-steering wheel, pulling to their right as hard as possible.
The ship careened through the air, then finally in an explosion of water they crash landed into the surf.
It was dark. Water began leaking into the ship, and only groans were audible from the crew.
