The Royal Court Of Love

Chapter 5: This is where we Departure.

                                                                 CHAPTER 5:

     -Mr. Grandmore POV-

                                 I was just about to call the school until I heard a voice from the main office.

"Sir There's someone on Line 2."

I Picked up the phone and signaled her to go. "Hello?"

"I Have Some interesting news about your daughter.."

"Who is this?"

"Oh I'm one of her friends...Jessica."

"Go ahead and speak? Is Alexandra Ok?"

"Yes sir its just shes been sharing a room with 4 guys..I was so worried about her."

"WHAT?"

"I'm sorry sir she said you approved of it."

            I slammed the phone and felt frustrated. I angrily said "GET MY JET READY!"

      -Alex POV-

              I was sleepy and it was math. What could be worse? Then Mr.Salisbury came to my desk and said "Your Dad is in the front office...take all your stuff." Take all my stuff? Well I guess there's no arguing with a teacher. As I left the classroom Jessica smiled and waved. When was she so nice to me anyways? I walked in and my dad looked hurt. I had not seen those eyes full of pain since Mom left and he grabbed me by the arm with full force.

                 "Get in the Car NOW!" Those words echoed and I was actually frightened for once in my life. Once he got in the car my whole world just seemed to stop and it was because of that stupid Royal Court. My dad agreed that I could stay but I have to change dorms and lose all contact. This was the last time The Royal Court would get in the way of my life and I'm going to make positive. My teachers were switched and I even started eating lunch in the cafeteria. I remembered the empty music room and created a music club.

  -2 weeks later-

                      It seemed so long ago that I forgot about the Royal Court until the posters started spreading around the Academy. 'Start the Voting for The Royal Queen!!! Music Club is performing at the unavailing!!' I walked towards the music room ignoring the fact that I'm performing in front of them and remembered that I was in charge of the rest of the acts. I was only one of the acts so it was more like a talent show and I was planning the whole thing. When I walked into the music room The Royal Court was sitting on the stage and I just stood there like a statue. I decided to act like I didn't even know them and take all my belongings to the back. I turned to see Jake standing over me and said "Please wait on stage for rehearsal." I went back to the other members and said "I'll start the auditions tomorrow but today's class is only practicing your act.The Royal Court will be judging your acts as well...I'll be going..I have things to attend before tomorrow." They all smiled at me and I walked out like nothing was bothering me.

             When I closed the door I pressed my back against it and actually started to breathe. Before anyone could see I got up and continued walking down the halls. When I got in my dorm, I turned on the TV , and my dad had released that I was his daughter. I threw the remote at the wall and started crying. My blood boiled at the fact that he used me to bring him more publicity and there was nothing I could do about it. I looked at the time and I had ran a music class for kids.

              I walked out the gates and cameras were flashing everywhere. My life had changed and there was no turning back on what my dad got me into. My dad made me start taking Limousines to places I could once walk to and I couldn't stand it. After I taught the music class, I tried to avoid taking the limousine, but the security my dad sent shoved me into the car, and I felt claustrophobic. No not just the limousine rides but my life was claustrophobic.

        Soon it was going to be the auditions in the gym and I was afraid I'd stop breathing completely. When I walked in my chest started to pound and I saw that I was going to sit right next to Jake. I sat down and said "Start the auditions please." Throughout the whole thing I caught him staring at me and I couldn't wait till these auditions were over.

        As the last act left the stage and im sure I was about to pass out. Jake grabbed my arm and said "Alex I-" I cutt him off as I ran out of the gym and I ran to the schools garden.

          I sat on the swing and decided I needed some fresh air. I looked up at the sky and thought 'No things got to change....tomorrows the first rehearsal.' I went to my dorm and I just couldn't sleep. before I knew It, it was morning and my phone was ringing.

"Hello."

"Miss.Grandmore you have a visitor."

"Okay I'll be up there in 5 minutes."

        I yawned and thought 'only Cassie would come this early.' I got dressed and walked out my dorm. Once I got to the front office Cassie came up and hugged me. A day with Cassie really relived me and noticed she was keeping something from me the whole time. Before I could let her leave I had to figure out what it was..

"Cassie?"

"yes Alex?"

"Can I ask you something?..."

"Sure I don't see why not."

"Are you keeping something from me?.."

"No what makes you think that?"

"You've been acting different lately.."

"Oh...but nothing is going on...I promise."

           I managed to make myself laugh and just like that she left. I sat on the floor and started crying. Why was everyone slowly leaving me? The nights were passing by I couldn't sleep and I'm sure I looked like a zombie. Before I knew it Cassie visited less often and I felt completely alone. The rehearsals made me more tired and I looked at the calender. exactly 17 more days until the unveiling and I made sure I would give my all.

          After I finished the forms for all acts that were performing, I had to turn them in at the office, and today was the deadline so I was just in time. I was just about there and I heard "Its The Royal Court!" I didn't even want to turn and I just continued walking. I turned them in and I was glad that I made the deadline.

        I went to the kids music class and I finally felt alive. I smiled for once without faking it and they noticed it to. I told them to wish me good luck at my performance and to my surprise they all made me a card. I got in the limousine and said to myself "17 more days....only 17 more days."

        I walked from the school parking lot and saw Cassie. I noticed that she was with Josh and was happy. I wasn't going to say "Hi" or anything because its been a while since Cassie was interested in a guy and I didn't want to be the one to ruin it for her. I went to the music room to lock it for the night, but to my surprise Jake was in there, and he knew I was going to be there to lock it tonight to. I turned and acting like I didn't care. "Sir could you please come out of the music room I'm locking up for the night." He stepped forward and I couldn't breathe. But maybe it just wasn't that....after all I haven't slept for 3 days.  I passed out and thought

                             'Im Determined To Get You Out Of My Life Jake Davis..'
