Chapter 4: Davis Manor.

                                                                CHAPTER 4:

                  I tried to see if there was anyway for me to escape but at this point nothing seemed possible and they were smarter than I hoped they would be. Once in while Jake's mom would come in and smack me around. All I could do was try to stand up to her, which was pretty reckless to do considering what position I'm in. Now I'm sure everything seemed hazy and I was starting to lose myself. Maybe it was that stuff they forced me to eat or maybe it was just the fact that I was being smacked around constantly. Everything was messed up now and I couldn't quite see anything at all. She came in and said "I've come to an agreement that if you'll agree to staying away from my son I'll leave you alone."

                I couldn't manage to say 'Sure, ok, or I Don't Like him anyways' At that moment in time I couldn't even pronounce words let alone barley think and some how she knew that. Suddenly out of nowhere Jake and everybody else was in front of me and before Jake could even move she grabbed my face. I looked at her other hand and there was a blade held firmly in her palm.

   She had me by the neck and said "Take one step Jake and she gets it..Now tell your friends that you've agreed to move away for a while."

    I managed to let out slurred words "g-go away..I-I don't need any of you and especially y-you Jake Davis."

         I saw the hurt in his eyes and I managed to pull off one of my fake smiles. But it wasn't long till I saw Cassie come from behind Josh and I started crying. Cassie had saved me so many times before from thugs and people who were after my father.

 Cassie was about to step forward until Ms.Davis pulled out the knife I had seen before "Take one more step and I'll hurt her."

 Cassie continued walking forward and said "Well thats fine she doesn't need me anyways..."

 Ms.Davis dropped the knife and said "boys let her go...we already fed her the correct things...so theres no point.." The two guys pushed me and I fell straight to the floor.

                 I could barley stand but using the wall I did and Cassie was mad "Who do you think you are? WHAT DID I TELL YOU ALEX?" 

    I looked at the rest of them and said "I just didn't want you guys to get hurt because of me." Cassie slapped me and everything got quiet. I looked at her and said "I'm sorry Cassie..."

 That's when she hugged me and said "Your my best friend Alex don't be so reckless...and leave next time without telling me I'll definitely kick your ass." That's when I smiled and passed out.

        I woke up in the middle of eveything and I was on Jakes shoulders. For some reason I felt comfortable and held on tighter. He noticed and laughed to himself.

     When I actually fully woke up I was in Jake's dorm, he was cleaning and putting band aids on all the cuts and bruises. I tried sitting up but he insisted I stayed laying down.

"Wheres Cassie?."

"Josh went with her to the store.."

"Wheres everybody else?.."

"They went out.."

"oh.."

             He looked frustrated and said "I'm really sorry about my mom.."

  I laughed and said "Don't worry about it ." Jake came around the bed and sat down next to me. He turned on the TV and I felt hazy again.

 I continued laughing and he felt my head "Your running a fever." I felt tired all of a sudden and fell asleep in his lap.

              I woke up in the morning and I was asleep next to Jake. I slid out of bed and went to go check on everybody else. Josh and Cassie were asleep on the couch. Isaiah and Robert weren't in the dorm as usual. I turned around to see Jake

"What are you doing out of bed?"

"Gosh I have to ask you if I can wake up now?"

"Hey little girl if it weren't for me you'd be more sick."

"Hey Boy. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be sick in the first place."

"Whatever....Hey what happened to the cake?"

          We went to the stove and took it out. I frosted it and said "Do you want a piece?"

  He sat at one of the kitchen stools and said "Sure."

        When we ate it I said "This cake is Delicious."

  He put a spoonful in his mouth and said "Its only because I touched it."

 I rolled my eyes and said "Of course..." It got quite for a second until he took the rest of my cake and I yelled "Hey idiot that's crossing the line." I took a piece of his cake and said "Mind your own plate idiot."

         Not to long after that I got a call that my father had dropped something off in the front office so I went to office and they said my father didn't drop off anything. So i headed back to the dorms and on my way a girl said "You wouldn't happen to be going to The Prince's Dorms would you?" I tried to ignore her but she shoved an ice cream cone in my face and I found myself in a crowd full of angry girls. Gosh....

                                                     "I HATE YOU JAKE DAVIS!!!!"
