Chapter 8: 12 More Days and Counting.

                                                                     Chapter 8:

                               I woke up in the morning and I looked around to see everyone asleep. The house was a mess and I sat up. I saw that I had band-aids all over me and Jake was asleep on the table. I took the blanket that was on me and put it over Jake's shoulders. I decided to pick up the dorm because of how dirty it looked every-time I walked in and I laughed thinking how they would be living if I never cleaned it.  When I cleaned up the kitchen UNO cards were scattered and soda was spilled ever where. As I moved to the living room DVD cases were everywhere as well as popcorn and candy.

             After I cleaned up and took a shower I decided to go to the supermarket. I walked out of the dorm and looked out of the gate. The Limo wasn't in there and I ran towards the supermarket. I went down the Isels and I ran into Jake's mom. "Well look who it is...I pressume your fathers doing great...if I knew you were his daughter I wouldn't mind about you and Jake..."

   I nodded and said "Yea he's doing great...and if it makes you feel any better I still would with out your permission."

  When I walked passed her she clapped and said "Carry on...Take care of Jake..."

                  I rolled my eyes and said to myself "Yea I'll see what I can do. its hard when he is a idiot." I had decided to buy groceries for the dorm since all they had was Junk food. The same cashier was scanning my food again and I smiled like I didn't remember.

          He laughed and said "Wheres Jake?"

I smiled and said "Hes back at the academy...."

 He bagged all the food and said "He's not as tough as he looks to be."

I smiled and walked away. I walked outside the supermarket to see Jake standing against his car and he said "Need help getting home with that?"

I walked in a different direction and said "Stalker."

He laughed and said "You can't take the basket."

   I sarcastically laughed and helped him put the stuff in the trunk. Before I could get in the car it drove away and I said "Jake! The Food!"

 He laughed and said "I know there taking it back to the dorm." Before I could say anything else another car pulled up and Jake pulled me inside.

  Still in shock I said "where are we going?."

 He smiled and said "Our first date."

 I looked at him and started yelling "JAKE DAVIS I NEVER AGREED TO THIS!"

     He clicked a button and the screen to the front seat rolled up. Josh and Cassie were sitting there laughing and Cassie said "Come on Alex ...its more like a double date."

 I looked out the window and said "Ugh...where to?"

 Cassie pulled two bikinis out of her bag and said "the Beach!" Once we got there me and Cassie went inside the changing room."Come on Alex I guarantee your going to have fun today." 

   I smirked and said "Fine but its not a date."

      After about 2 hours of swimming we decided to change and head to the boardwalk. Cassie and Josh ran towards the food stands. Me and Jake continued looking at the stores. We passed by a store and there was a beautiful necklace. I wanted to buy it but my dad would know I'm out of the Academy. Jake looked at me and was about to say something but I said "Come on there's still allot of stores." By the end of the day I figured out this resort was a one of Josh's birthday presents and we decided to stay here for the weekend before spring break was over.

   Everyone was watching movies and eating popcorn. So I decided to sneak out while they weren't looking and went to sit on the beach. I layed in the sand and looked up in the sky. I smiled until I noticed another body next to me and it was Jake. I frowned and said "What a way to ruin the view."

    He laughed and handed me a bag. I opened the bag and there was the necklace from earlier. "Sorry this seems like a scene from a movie...this is where your suppose to admit that this is a date."

  I smiled and said "no I never said I would be an actor but I'll accept it anyway."

 He tried grabbing it out of my hands and said "Then give it back I payed good money for it!"

I put the necklace on and said "Well your an Idiot for giving it to me then."

    After we went inside everyone looked at both of us and I felt why already. I couldn't speak and Jake just smiled and continued walking.

  Before I went to sleep I squeezed my necklace and said "What an idiot..."

         When I woke up I heard Jake call me from outside and when I walked out there all his assistants were leaving. I noticed that they carried out a blue couch and Jake stood up to greet me. I smacked him behind the head and said "Jake! Why in your right mind would you put a couch outside!!"

  He laughed and said "Because I'm not in my right mind. Besides its nice out here!" We both sat on the couch and he took out his phone. "Can you please send m-" I knocked the phone out of his hands and we both sat straight forward.

     Jake kept on asking why I did that and I said "If this was a date...was...then you would have to do it by yourself not with anybody elses help."

  He laughed and said "So then can you admit this is a date already?"

  I pushed him and said "When pigs fly."

He looked at one of his assistances and said "Hurry find a flying pig."

 I pushed him off the couch and said "Yes I'm sure you'll find one."

  As we were laughing the worst thing happened....."Miss. Grandmore your fathers on line 2...."

                                   'The Royal Court is getting me into all sorts of trouble!!!!'
