Chapter 6: What is Love?

                                                                   Chapter 6: 

             -Jake POV-

               All of us were in Mr.Silsbury's class when everything started.

"Alex Grandmore take all your stuff to the office." She looked like she had slept through most of the lesson and Jessica was waving to her. Is Alex friends with her now? Nope I highly doubt that and I wasn't convinced that Jessica even wanted to be her friend anyway.

        It was lunch time and I went to the music room. Alex was usually there and it was fun bothering her. When I walked in Alex wasn't there and I thought 'Shes still out with her father.im guessing...' I turned around to see Jessica and she smiled wickedly.

    She laughed and said "Hey Jake! You wanna go out sometime? Or are you waiting for someone?"

I started walking out and said "Nah I'm fine..I can't stand looking at plastic all day..I was but you came in so I think i'll go look for her."

 She started yelling "SHES NOT COMING BACK JAKE!"          

           After a couple of days she stopped coming to class and all her stuff was taken out of the dorm. I felt like smashing a wall...but why? Shes just any normal girl and annoying at that. Once I got back to the dorm I sat in the living room and started watching TV. Until josh came out of his room and he had his car keys. "Hey where you heading off to?."

"Oh uh I forgot to park my car in the school parking lot."

"You've been doing that allot lately."

"Yea im so busy these days I forget.."

     Just like that he left and I was tired. I wondered where Alex was and I couldn't get her out of my head. 

--2 weeks Later-

           The name Alex Grandmore never seems to go away because of that music club she created and the posters. I thought to myself in curiosity 'Shes still in the school...but why is she ignoring me...who wants to ignore Jake Davis..' Then I remembered that shes planning the whole thing so she would have to talk to me sometime and she was one of the acts so I would get to do rehearsal with her. See there's no avoiding the one and only Jake Davis. When I walked into the music room everyone else was there except Alex and I thought 'Just as I thought a classy late entrance.' When she walked in I could tell that she was nervous and she ran to the back room. I followed her but when she turned, she acted like she had never seen me ever in her life.

         "Sir please wait on stage for rehearsals.." I followed her back to the front and she was completely ignoring me. "I'll start the auditions tomorrow.but today's act is only practicing your act...The Royal Court will be judging your act as well...I'll be going...I have things to attend to before tomorrows auditions."

          I wanted to follow her as she left the room but I was at loss for words and Robert said "Looks like your growing feelings for her..hm?" Everyone paused and listened into what I had to say. I ignored the questions and left. Slamming the door seemed to catch every ones attention and the halls got quiet.

       When I got back to the dorm I was flipping by channels until one caught my eye

"So Mr.Grandmore is it true you have a daughter?."

"Of Course it is."

"Why after all these years you decide to tell everyone?"

"Because one day she will run the company."

        Then there were live cameras outside the gates and I couldn't see who it was until I looked closely. It was Alex and the press was practically beating her up out there. I just wondered why Alex was so mad at me and I thought maybe if I talked to her about it.

      It just about time for the autdions and I really hoped Alex would talk to me. Josh laughed and said "Waiting for Alex?." I laughed sarcasticly and before I could say anything Alex walked in.

        She quickly sat down and said "Start the auditions." I wasn't really paying attention to the auditions and I wanted to talk to Alex.

      After the last act she looked like she was about to pass out and I wanted to talk to her so badly. I grabbed her arm and said "Alex I-" She got up and ran out of the gym. I ran after her but she ran so quickly that I couldn't find her and I went to the music room. I just laid there and said "Why are you doing this to yourself Jake? shes just another girl...let it go." That's when Isaiah walked in and sat next to me

"Im pretty sure shes doing fine no need to worry.."

"Who are you to tell me anything.."

"Jake...you know she might be going through something.."

"Sure whatever.."

       17 more days until the festival and I'm going to talk to Alex by then. So the next day I waited for Alex in the music room and she didn't look so good. She passed out and i ran towards her....
