Chapter 9:
"Miss. Grandmore your Fathers on Line 2"
I sat up and grabbed the phone knowning he would come pick me up in a second. I swolled my saliva and said "Hello?"
He sounded angry "Alexandra Where are you?"
"Im at the beach with Cassie. Why?"
"Just asking...I'll talk to you later Alexandra."
"Okay Mr. Grandmore.."
"Good you remembered what to call me this time.."
"Goodbye Mr.Grandmore.."
"Bye."
I sighed and threw the phone remembering it wasn't mine. I smiled and said "I'll pay for that I swear."
Before Jake could throw a fit Cassie came just in time to pull me away "Alex we need to talk..now."
We went walking on the boardwalk and Cassie insisted on buying me a snowcone. For a second I took a breath of fresh air "So what's going on Cassie?"
She looked like she was fustrated and if you knew her like me Cassie was never fustrated. "How many women does Joshua have exactly?.."
I wasn't sure what to tell her and she could see right through me. She stood up and said "I'm going now.."
I stood up just as fast and said "Cassie.."
She threw her snowcone in the trash and started running. "What did that idiot do..."
Then Jake came and sat next to me "Please forgive Joshua..he avoids getting close to anyone.."
I smiled and said "At least or I hope they will talk it out"
Jake grabbed my hand and said "Come on..I got something to show you." I agreed and while running I thought to myself 'As much as I want to admit it I can't admit this is a date..' When we got there that same blue couch was now on the beach and I started laughing.
"Your an idiot.."
"How am I an idiot?"
"Do you really wan't me to answer that?" We sat on the couch and it was actually really nice.
"Me and my dad use to do this all the time.."
I smiled and said "Well I'm sure your mom misses him to."
"I doubt that...I have 3 other step-fathers."
"You don't see it because your an idiot."
He started laughing and said "Your something aren't you?"
"Yea I'm human."
---JOSHUA'S POV---
Jake and Alex went off to continue shopping and remembered what I had to do."Cassie would you like to go on a date with me?" She nodded and we both got in the car. Thinking 'After this you won't even talk to me again..' We got off at the Nightclub and I walked to the V.I.P table. Once we sat down all the girls were around me and I looked at Cassie while I kissed another girl.
Her eyes widened "I got to go to the bathroom."
I followed her and said "You can't leave when we're in the middle of a date." She nodded and I pulled her to the poker tables.
One of the guys said "Look who he brought today."
I noticed that they were all looking at Cassie so I said "After you guys could have a turn with her I don't mind." Cassie stood up and poured her water all over me. I thought to myself. 'Success.' I started drinking and went into a hotel with the bartender. I laid her down and walked out of the hotel. She thought I was really drunk and I acted along with her until she passed out from drinking. I walked home and walked inside just in time to see Alex and Jake walk inside.
I followed him in the hallway and said "that's my player."
He stopped and said "Shouldn't I be saying that to you?"
I started laughng and said "yea."
---ALEX'S POV---
Me and Jake went back to the house...Before we could walk in a limo pulled up and my mom stepped out.....
