Chapter 10: "The Truth Behind The Royal Court."(9 More Days and Counting.)

                               CHAPTER 10: "THE TRUTH BEHIND THE ROYAL COURT."

--ALEX'S POV--

    When my mom stepped out of the car I covered my mouth in shock. "Alexandra Dear!! How are you? Didn't your father call?" My arms fell to my sides and I thought to myself 'shes back' Jake and my mom made eye-contact "Your Marina's son...Am I correct?"

He answered with a simple "Yeah." She snapped her fingers and her security shoved us inside Josh's condo. When I walked in Cassie saw us and dropped the glass cup she was drinking out of.

 Everyone joined us in the living-room and my mom had a devilish grin across her face "So this the Royal Court."

Robert walked in and said "I'm sorry for being so un-prepared...Mrs.Grandmore." Everyone besides Cassie looked at me wondering why I never mentioned her before and all I could do is try to ignore it.

Before I could say anything my mom started talking "Oh Alexandra you are to Get married to Mr.Smith..we haven't figured out the exact date but that's where we'll go tomorrow."

I looked at Jake to see him acting like he usually would and I felt hurt by that. But Cassie would never let me get pushed around like that. "You...You Physco Bitch..And you Robert how could you do this?"

 My mom snapped her fingers, security covered Cassie's mouth with a towel, and before I knew it Cassie was asleep."Take that girl out of here..Now."

Joshua stood up "I'm sorry you can't do that...I own this place so you can get out.."

My mom laughed and said "I hope you didn't think your parents gave this house to you did you?..Guards keep those two on close watch.." I couldn't seem to find any words still and I didn't know why.

"Alexandra we will leave tomorrow morning...I trust you understand the situation Mr.Davis?"  Robert put his arm around me and I looked back to see Jake acting normally.

When we got inside Robert's room I looked at him and said "I'm not doing anything with you so don't even try."

He laid on the bed and said "You'll turn to me eventually." When Robert finally fell asleep I quietly went to Jake's room and when I walked in he was sleeping.

I sat next to him and said "You big idiot."

He sat up and said "At least  I don't stalk people when there sleeping.."

I threw a pillow at him and said "Go back to sleep air-head."

He caught the pillow before it could reach his face "Not with someone watching me..Your scared right?"

I was caught. "No why would I be?"

He smiled and said "I don't know you tell me why."  We started talking after a while until he fell back to sleep and I walked out to his balcony.

 I held onto the necklace and started crying "Why won't you say anything."

Jake came from behind me and said "Why are you crying for?"

I started crying more and said "You don't care right?"

"Care about what?"

I turned around and looked him straight in the eyes "The Marriage. Don't act like you don't know."

"Well there's nothing I can do about it..So why try?"

I grabbed onto his shirt and said "Why won't you say anything?!?"

''Alex there's nothing I can do."

I pushed him away and said "You know there's plenty.. Just tell me not to Jake..Tell me not to!"

He looked away and said "I can't do that Alex."

"Just tell me not to go!" He continued to stay quiet then I realized the truth and my crying seemed to get louder "Fine Jake Davis you caught me in your stupid personality. And I fell for you! Happy?" I pulled off the necklace and said "I'll have my assistance's send you the money for that necklace."

"Alex I-" and at that I ran to my room crying myself to sleep. 

    I walked in my mom's office to see a women with shiny black hair crying and my mom said "Fine..I can help your family if you'll work for me in exchange." Next to her was a little boy with the same black hair except he had brown eyes unlike his mother.

I went to my mom's desk and said "Mommy I couldn't sleep."

She smiled at me and said "Go bother your Father..Mommy is busy right now." As I walked out of her office and I faintly heard "Sure Ms.Davis sign here please."

When I walked in my father's office he said "Look whos up and running around this late."

 When I woke up the next day I heard my parents yelling at each other "I will not have our daughter exposed to this kind of Publicity."

"Richard...We need this for the company think about the company."

"No she'll go to the public school not that academy."

"Richard shes to young anyways to understand...She will do what I say."

"I Won't agree with you."

"Fine Then tell your 'Daughter' why her Mommy left."

  Why did she leave...

I woke up sweating and looked at the clock '8:30 am' I sat up to see Robert outside on the balcony. My eyelids felt puffy and as I stood up Robert said "I had them leave some clean clothes for you in the bathroom." I just agreed and took a shower like I was told.  When we walked down stairs I put on my glasses and had my mom's assistances carry all my bags. 'if this is what she wants me to be then so be it...

---JAKE'S POV--

    After Alex left I wasn't sure what to say or even if I should say anything. She was to complicated and I didn't see why I should waste my time fixing her life. I laid back down with the necklace in my hands 'You'll send me the money huh.' I threw it at the wall and said to myself "Ha like I would care about a stupid girl like you for a second." Then I thought about the dream I had  before Alex came and woke me up...

       I walked down stairs and saw my mom crying while my dad was nowhere to be found. I sat next to her and told her "we would be fine."

She kept on crying saying "He took everything from me...from us..." I knew I had to be stronger for her and from that day I knew I never wanted to see my fathers face again. The next day we went to a huge building and my mom said this lady was an old friend.

My mom was begging for a job from this cruel cold-hearted woman. As much as I wanted to say something I couldn't and I learned to keep my feelings from my own self.

When we got back home a red envelope was hanging on our door and more tears fell from my mom's face.''Don't worry Jake..Mommy's going to fix it."

As the years went by I decided to start a club called the 'Royal Court' Which was the name of the company that my mom was working for and I got the richest guys to join...This club would be a place for where only Rich and Successful people could live.

  When I woke up I walked out of my room to see Alex walking down stairs it was like she changed over night and I watched as she was turning into the monster she never wanted to be.

I walked down the hallway to hear Cassie and Josh arguing "Just stay away from me."

"Your saying this to the person who helped you yesterday from being thrown outside."

"I wish they would have anyways. Why would I want to be here with you."

 I looked outside the window to see Alex get in the car and drive away..I already lost her.  Shes just another girl and I promise myself I'm not going to care...
