When Chris got back in , I texted Nay & told her to meet Chris & I at the beach we decided to wait until the sun goes down a little so we know not a lot of people will be there . I took a shower & put on one of Chris' boxers & I put on my over sized white button down shirt with my pink lace bra . I let my wet , curly hair stay out . Chris came out of the shower with his towel wrapped around his waist & water dripping from his chest . I bit lip , ughh he is such a tease , he knows Im a virgin & wants to stay one for awhile . His body is just irresistible . He smiled & walked over to the bed .

Chris - You like what you see ? I ignored him , turning my head the other way . He crawled on the bed , stopping right in front of me .

Chris - You want me ? As bad as I did , I couldnt let him know because he would take advantage of my weakness. So I continued to ignore him .

Chris - Babe , all you gotta do is ask , stop fighting it . He whispered As he moved closer to my face . This was literally breaking me down . I looked him in his eyes , he smiled because he knew exactly what he was doing . I got up off the bed & ran to the basement .

When I got to the basement , I didnt want Chris to come so I lifted up the carpet & pulled the handle which opened a door to a room which I decorated . It was purple & white with my name printed in black across the wall . I made this a place where I come to think about things . Even though I live alone , Chris is always here so when I need to get a away for minute I would tell Chris I was going to the store when actually I would be coming down , here normally I come here to either play piano , dance , sing , or cry . I hung pictures up of my real father Matthew & my brother Terrance . Takeya & Tamia are not my real sisters they were adopted but Terrance & I are my biological fathers only kids . When my dad died , my mom was so different thats when she got together with Joey . I changed too I was in high school around that time as well . I was always getting into a fight . I came in the house at anytime of night . I was always being disrespectful & bitchy . I wasn't Taleah anymore . Its funny because it seems like Im hiding Im just thinking from Chris but Im not I just came here to think & get away from his sexy ass . I looked at the picture of my dad & I on my 7th birthday . I smiled to myself remembering that day like it was yesterday . I felt warm hands wrap around my waist , grabbing me from behind almost scaring the living shits outta me .

Chris - So this is your secret vampire layer huh ? He joked , making both of us laugh .

Me - Nahh its my thinking area . I shrugged still staring at the picture on the wall . Chris let go of my waist & looked over at the wall staring at the same picture I was looking at .

Chris - Is that you ?

Me - Yeah .

Chris - Who is this ? I put my head , knowing a time like this would come where I would have to explain , but I dont wanna not now at least .

Me - My dad . I whispered were he could hear me .

Chris - This isn't Joey right ? shook my head no . He looked hella confused . I took a deep breath .

Me - Joey is my Step - Father & my biological father died . He looked at me with sympathy in his eyes & hugged me tight & he just held me like he never wanted to let go .

Chris - So thats what the date & the rose stand for . I smiled weakly , holding back tears .

Me - Yeah , he loved roses .

I felt bad for her honestly , I just held her to let her know im here for her . I love her with all my heart & I want her to know that .
