Falling slowly

Everything's Ok

As we were on the elevator on our way to see mom my hand was shaking. I didn't know what to expect for her to be OK and She'll come back home with us or if it would take longer. Or even worse they can't save her. After about an hour waiting for mom to get put of her surgery the surgeon led us to the room she will be staying for the couple weeks. " Mom!" I say in relief.

"Sweety" she says. Just hearing her voice makes me feel better.

"We came as soon as they called" says my dad as Jamie and Henry come in.

"We got you these flowers mom, your favorites" I say with a smile

"Sunflowers" She says smiling back at me. When I was small we had a garden and my mom would always plant the sunflowers first because they are her favorite. She told us stories how when she was little before she was and orphan her mother used to always have them in her garden and she will sometimes cut them and put them in my moms hair after she's done with her braid. And that is the only memory she has left of her.
"Thank you guys" she says

"I love you mom" says Jamie as she hugs my mom carefully.

" love you too" she says

Ever since then we have been visiting her and bringing her flowers. And I didn't have time to do my homework because I'll always be with her. Until three weeks later I got a letter in the mail saying if I don't pass I would fail. So I had to stop going to visit mom. And because school got in the way of everything I wasn't able to see or talk to Jesse not even text. After I was passing my class I had more time to spare. And I went to visit mom again and right after that I planned to meet up with Jesse.

I get out of the hospital and spot Jesse's black Ferrari. "Just couldn't stay away could you?" He says

"Your bluffing" I say with a giggle I hop in the car and we drive away "so where are we going?" i say

"To a club" he says."why do you think I asked you to dress fancy" he says again

"OK but I'm not drinking" I say

"Neither am I but hey let's just have fun" he says with a grin

We arrive at the club and when we enter there are flashing lights all around me and guys with their jaws open looking up and down on me. One was about to touch me when... "Stay away" Jesse snaps I burst out laughing but then stop when I notice its serious. Jesses does end up drinking but I don't assuming I'm the one that will have to drive us home. After about three hours or so I check my phone and it says its 9:47 so I drag Jesse out and I take the keys and he takes a seat beside me. I drive him home and I decide to walk back home. But he insists on me taking his car cause its late dark outside so I obey and drive home.
