Ashton smiled to himself as he awoke, feeling the softness of Leah in his arms. He looked down at her still sleeping figure and brushed a bit of her hair from her dark cheek. He loved it when she was asleep, because her face was clear of worry and exhaustion. She was completely pure. However, his delight was short lived, because if they werw to make it to Calum's house on time she had to wake up within the next minute or two. He sighed and caressed her soft cheek.

"Darling? Its time to wake up" he whispered. Leah swatted at him.

"Lemme 'lone you bastard" she snarled. She was never one for mornings. Ashton merely chuckled.

"Alright, sweetheart. But if you aren't up In five minutes I'm coming back with Jet" he threatened, referring to their puppy. Leah groaned and rolled to face away from Ashton who was standing by then. Ashton shook his head in amusement. He knew she didn't mean any harm by it. She was just a bit grumpy. She was up before noon after all. Ashton pulled on some clothes and insured Leah had everything packed. God knew she'd forget her head if it wasn't attatched. When he finished checking their luggage, Leah wrapped her arms around him from behind. She was still warm from sleep.

"Good morning, my love" he murmured. Leah pressed a kiss into his back.

"Morning" he turned to face her and held her close.

"Are you done being gwumpy?" He asked in a teasing baby voice. Leah rolled her eyes.

"You're such an asshole, Ash"

"But I'm your asshole right?"

"Of course, baby" Ashton couldmt help but to smile widely at her. She was just so perfect to him. Sure she was grumpy if she was up before noon but he loved it and somehow that assured him that he loved her. Ashton had the mild disfunction of falling in love too easily. Lucky for him, Leah loved him too.

"So we're taking Jet with us right?" She asked. Ashton bit his lip in contemplation.

"No no. Remember I called my mother the other day and she's going to look after her for the week. Lauren and Harry are excited." Leah nodded, beginning to brush her teeth.

"Mmkay, I jus' fought we were fakin' her" she mumbled through toothpaste. Ashton giggled at her and wiped some toothpaste from her chin.

"You're so beautiful you know that don't you?" Leah chuckled and spit into the sink.

"You're a dork, you know that don't you?"

"Aw baby you know I love pet names" Ashton teased. Leah rinsed her mouth and pecked Ashton's cheek. She was so in love with that man.

As the pair finished preparing they got in the car.

"Fuck" Leah hissed. Ashton glanced at her while backing out of the driveway.

"What is it?" Leah lifted her arm and wrinkled her nose.

"Smell me do I stink? I think forgot deodorant." Ashton leaned over and sniffed, keeping his eyes on the road.

"No no you're good you're just used to the smell." Leah laughed.

"Know how I know we love each other?" She asked. Ashton shook his head.

"No. How?"

"We do weird shit like this." Ashton bellowed, his laugh bouncing off the windows and doors, filling up the car.

"You're right, darling. Youre so right."
And she was.
