"Mrs. Williams I will really miss you, you've been the mother I've always wanted" I said as I hugged my neighbor mrs. Williams.
I'm Aleeyah, Aleeyah Smith. My mother and father well always busy doimg work. They never pay attention to me. My brother went to college and well i'm alone. My next door neighbor Mrs. Williams is moving out of Georgia to go to New York. I'm really gonna miss her. She's been here for me since I was 11 and im 17 now.
"Sweetheart I will call you everyday, you know my number" she replied
"Mrs. Williams, why cant your husband just go? I mean he's the one that got offered the job not you"
"I know honey but he's my husband, im 45 I need someone to help me"
"You have me" she laughed
"Sweetheart I will miss you, I have to go now but when I reach the big apple I will call you okay" She kissed my forehead and entered her car.
"Byee!" I waved as she drove out of the driveway. I turned on my heels and entered my house.
I entered and wemt into my room. Im really gonna miss her, she meant everything to me.
Ding, my phone vibrated. It was my bestfriend Veronica.
"Hey girl" she said
"Hi" I groaned
"Whats wrong?"
"Remember its sunday..."
"Omg mrs. Williams gone! No I loved her!" She yelled causing me to jump
"Yeah I know"
"Dont worry you might get a cute new neighbor" I giggled
"Yeah right, I got to go but ima hit your phone tonight"
"Okay girl see ya" I hung up and plopped on my bed.

The next morning I woke up and got dressed in a red above mu fimgertips skirt, a red crop top, and some red jordans. I was rocking all red today. I wore my red lipstick and curled my hair. I grabbed my phone and bag and went downstairs. Again no parents, sometimes I just wish we could have a normal breakfast amd dinner together. I rolled my eyes and exited the house.
"Hey boo" Veronica yelled after me as I walked on school grounds.
"Hey Roni"
"Whats wrong? Parents not home again?"
"You know me so well" we laughed and sat down in our seats.
"Hello class" the teacher said as he wrote on the board.
"Same old same old pop quiz" he said as he handed us our papers. The class groaned.
"Aleeyah is the something you wamna say?" He asked
"Nah im good" I started my test and shut my mouth.

After school Veronica and I were sitting on my bed doing homework when my mom barged in my room.
"Leeyah!" She yelled
"Yes?! Ever heard of knocking or privacy?!" I yelled back
"Sorry honey, but we have new neighbors! " already? Wow
"Okay and?!" I asked
"Well the lady is very nice and she wamta to meet you" I rolled my eyes and me and Veronica wemt downstairs.
"There she is" my mom pointed.
"Okay and?"
"Oh Aleeyah hii im Amber or call me mrs. Wright"
"Oh hi well I guess you already know me this is Veronica" I pointed
"Hi, oh leeyah I have to go home my mom called"
"Okay bye call me!" I hugged her and she walked off.
"Oh you havent met my son" she said

"Jordan!" I stood confused
"Yeah ma!" He ran out the house with no shirt in and a pair of black joggers and jordans. Is it getting hot in here? Ih we're iutside in the summer of course.
"Jordan this is Mrs. Smith and her daughter Aleeyah" she pointed
"Hello ma'am" he shook my moms hand.
"And hello Aleeyah" he shook my hand as he stared at me.
"H-hi?" He chuckled. Whats so funny?
"Jordan what did I say about being shirtless?" His mom yelled

"Oh Alexis follow me" mrs. Wright pulled my mom into her house.

"Um sure? " I put my digits n his phone and handed it to him.

"Well...bye" I entered my house and went to my room.
