I was so worried and anxious I couldn't sit still, I worried about Jackson getting caught before he could send us the info and it wasn't like I wanted Blake dead for what he did, because I'm pretty sure he doesn't understand the severity of what he just revealed to the world.
It was a good thing Devon was back in Washington state, I so didn't want him worrying about this, I knew it wasn't my job but I wanted to keep him safe and far from this situation for as long as possible, it's probably why an underlying reason why I still haven't given up when so many people are against me.
I didn't want them targeting him next, he still had an innocence that I wanted to protect. Then someone startled me.
"You look pensive" a voice said.
I looked up and there stood Emil sitting across from me, I hadn't even realized I was sitting in the community living room.
"Big words, I'm impressed. But seriously I'm just worried about Jackson, he's been my assigned protector since I was born" I said continuing to look out the window.
"Don't worry, I've sent one of my guys with him, he's an electronics expert he's also good in combat, he'll help Jackson with anything he might face" he said looking me in the eye.
"Why do I feel like it's a bribe?" I said.
"Because you're very intuitive, but it's not necessarily a bribe more like a showcase of what we're capable of" he said.
"Would it still be called the Brotherhood?" I asked.
"Of course I mean that's what we're trying to get back to right now" he said.
I still had a lot of questions but I kept worrying about Jackson, you don't realize how much someone means to you until their life is potentially in the balance.
"I have an idea to get your mind off it all" he said.
That worried me because it was similar to what Dylan said when he took my virginity, it was ok at the time because I genuinely thought we were going to get married one day, nonetheless I allowed Emil to pull me up from my chair.
I hadn't realized that Emil had a small security team keeping people away from us, no wonder no one was passing by, then I noticed Dylan talking to Jeremy. I couldn't believe I had almost been taken in by him, I thought as Emil followed my line of sight when he realized I wasn't following him.
I didn't know what he was going to do but I never expected him to grab my hand and pull me towards the stairs, then as we got to the stairs he put his arm around me looking over at Dylan.
"Look I'm not into playing games" I said after we got the bottom of the stairs and pushing him away.
"It was immature I know but he was getting on my nerves, isn't he getting on your nerves?" he said looking at me and I couldn't help but think he knew more than he was telling me and it got me to look away.
"Come on what is you got that's supposed to keep my mind of worrying myself into the ground" I said.
He smiled and motioned for me to follow him, I never even noticed we were in the basement and I heard shouts and the sound of fighting, he pushed open a couple double-doors and inside there was a bunch of young wares fighting each other savagely.
Emil went and talked to someone who looked like they were running the fights, I noticed though that it looked like no one from the states was here. Made me wonder if anyone upstairs even knew this was going on, then Emil came back over.
"We're up next" he said.
I nearly choked.
"What are you talking about?" I said.
