Logan's POV:

I watched as Stella stormed out of the classroom, slamming the door. She'd never lost her anger like that before on a teacher. I turned to the girl next to me and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and gawked at me a bit before noticing and closing her mouth.

"Does this happen a lot?" I asked. The girls eyes fluttered for a moment before she answered.

"She wasn't like that last year. Something happened and Stella just...snapped. I don't know. You look new here. I'm Holly!" The girl, Holly, bit her lip, twirling her hair on her finger. She wasn't too bad to look at I suppose. She had bleached blonde hair that she obviously curled with an iron. Her face was okay, but that might be because of the tons of make up she was wearing. I smiled warmly back at her with my 'heartbreaking smile' as my friends called it.

"I'm Logan. I used to live here but i moved a few years ago. I just got back two days ago," I said, tapping my pencil on the desk. Holly pulled out a pen and held her hand out, palm up. I raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"What's your number? So we can talk and you can ask me out of course," She giggled, flipping her hair over her shoulder. A chuckle escaped my throat and I took the pen. What's wrong in making a new friend and giving her a chance? I scribbled my number down and capped the pen, handing it back to her. "Thanks! Text ya later!" Her voice was very peppy and girly, nothing like Stella. Stella is very tom boyish but in a good way. She liked all kinds of music, dark colors, skating, video games, and she's not afraid to be herself. Was that what I wanted or was what I wanted someone like Holly?
