3: Where's Skye?

Katie's POV:

"Ryder do you know we're Skye is? I haven't seen her anywhere for a while." Chase says.

"No I haven't, maybe someone else has seen her." Ryder says back.

"Marshall pretty much spent the whole day with me." Chase says.

"Yeah and Zuma spent the day with me." Ryder says. The two boys look over at me.

"I haven't seen her!" I say putting my hands in the air. Ryder laughs.

"What about Rocky?" Chase says.

"Stop!" I yell. Chase turns and looks at me like I have 3 heads.

"Rocky's asleep in there."

Chase's expression doesn't change.

"Tammy's in there too." I say.

Chase still doesn't get it.

"Rocky and Tammy are in there, sleeping peacefully together, the same way you and Skye sleep?" I say trying to make him see.

"Oh." He says and looks at the closed door. Then back at me finally getting it. "Oh." He says again.

"Yeah, just give them some space." I say. Ryder walks over and pecs me on the cheek.

"Hey, and Chase?" Ryder says.

"Yes Ryder sir?" Chase asks.

"While you're at it, give us some space too." Ryder says taking my hand and I can't help but giggle. He pulls me into the elevator smiling all the way. "I'm taking you out." He says. I giggle again and the elevator doors close.

Chase's POV:

So I was left all alone, I don't know what to do now, right now I would be with Skye but I don't know where she is still. I have no idea if she's even alive!

No Chase, that's crazy. Skye is a strong girl and and she's not dead.

I still can't help but feel like she's not coming back. What if she left me? I'm not that bad, am I? What did I do?

"Oof" I hit my head on the wall, I didn't even know I was pacing.

I hear laughing across the room and I turn to see Zuma on his back laughing at me like a hyena.

"It's not funny dude!" I yell and throw a pillow at his face. He deflects it, his laughter finally sobering up.

"Dude what are you so worried about?" Zuma says jumping up onto the counter.

"My girlfriend. She's driving me...into walls!" I say and Zuma chuckles.

"You can say that again. Where is she anyways?"

"Zuma! If I knew where she was I wouldn't be driving myself into walls!"

"Dude where's blacky." Zuma says.

"Blacky? Oh your sister. Yeah she's in there with Rocky." I say. Suddenly Rocky's ears go straight back and he storms into the room.

Though the walls I hear. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Suddenly Rocky comes sliding out of the room on his back.

"Well if you're really asking, we were sleeping a RESPECTABLE DISTANCE AWAY." Rocky yells while getting on his paws.

"DUDE THATS MY SISTER!" Suddenly I feel déjà vu. (This once happened when my brother knocked up Marshall's sister. Let's just say he wasn't happy.)

"WOAH!" I yell at advancing Zuma. I run and jump in front of him. "WOAH! ZUMA SNAP OUT OF IT! YOU DONT WANT TO FIGHT HIM BECAUSE HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING."

Zuma closes his mouth and looks at me. Slowly he sits down and so does Rocky.

"Good now talk it out." I say.

"Like girls?"

"Yes like girls."

"Wait, Chase. Skye said you know she was leaving, do you know what old friend she was going to go see?"

"Old friend?"

"Oh." Is all Rocky says. Zuma starts off about something to do with his sister and Rocky tries to defend himself but they just end up talking over each other so I just sit and let my mind drift back to Skye.

"Uh Chase, you might want to see this." Tammy's voice quiets the boys bickering. At first I just stare at her wondering what it could possibly be, curiosity takes over and I followed her into the room.

"There's a note on your bed- I didn't read it, just saw it. Thought it might be important."

But I was already reading before she even finished her sentence.
