LINDY JONE'S BOOBS are very near Colin's face right now, and he doesn't know what to do about it. Like, they're nice and all, but the Monet kind, you know? From afar.

"So, you got, like, 94 on the last Chem test, right?"

    "91, actually."

"Whatever, you set the curve. And I'm honestly the worst at this subject, so you should help me out."

    "Do you...uh, want to..."

Ms. Taylor, apparently, decided to not make a curriculum plan for this week, and instead chose to travel back to sixth grade and assign poster presentations. And now, Lindy and Colin are going to be partners, and Colin isn't really sure if he's ready for all the cleavage he will see in the next couple of weeks. Lindy's wardrobe seems to consist of only v-necks and it's not as if he's complaining much, but Jesus, he's talked to her around two other times in his entire life. He feels as if he's violating something if he looks too long, but he could swear that she kind of wants him to look, and Colin has never questioned partnering up with someone this much, before.

Lindy's nodding, so Colin must be heading in the right direction. He gets ready to continue. "...be—"

"Colin! Do you have a partner? I need one."

The breath he releases is the equivalent to the entire planet's carbon dioxide level. He whips around to see Julie behind him, with a little, knowing smile on her heart lips. Julie's also wearing a fucking v-neck. Literally, fuck this shit, Colin never, ever asked for this. Nonetheless, he smiles at his savior, but then remembers that Lindy is right next to him, along with her breasts (though they have traveled a little bit away—this is all relative, of course).

"I was going to partner with Lindy." He juts a half-hearted thumb behind him to gesture at the mentioned girl.

"Lindy obviously wants to get in your pants, Colin," she rolls her eyes, with the same smile. "Pleeeease?" She pouts, unbearably adorable, and he tries to make it look as if he's changing his mind, though his mind has been changed from the second he glanced at her a year ago and nearly fainted.

"Fine," Colin doesn't even sigh. Julie smiles, nods at him, and walks back to her desk. He sucks back in the air from before, and all is right with the world. That is, until he turns back around. Colin works hard to hold in a sigh.

COLIN SENSES APRIL before he sees her. For a five-three figure, she's got that whole "take up space with your personality" thing down. She'd been leaning against the corner of the brick school wall in front of the student parking lot, phone in hand. As he walks past her, she looks up, and is falling into step with him in the next second. Her circular glasses nearly topple off her nose.

"I need a ride," she says.

"Your phone is bigger than your face," Colin comments, instead.

"I need a ride," April repeats. With a sigh, Colin peers at her though the corner of his eye.

"I'm going to Louie's after school."

"I'll come with!" she grins, even hopping a little, not even stopping when Colin shoots her a mildly concerned look.

    "Really."

"I like frozen yogurt as much as the next person."

Colin laughs out a breath, "That's actually a gigantic lie, Cho."
