(Salutations out there to all reading this, I thank you for continuing to read this. No hate towards Makoto.)

It really was a tomorrow for Makoto today. The start of a new day finally was happening. A refreshing shower made the swimmer feel that familiar feeling once more.

A feeling he had not experienced in a while. Simply with the water pouring onto his body made him feel freedom. He wanted to that blue liquid on him. After of craving it, his wish was answered. Makoto has not swam in a while now. But he knew he had to wait a little longer to seize an opportunity to.

Right now, he had to focus his mind on something far off from the water. No more daydreaming. This was serious and needed to be dealt with now. First off, his hunger needed to be dealt with. Makoto drew back his wet bangs and made his way to the kitchen. There he saw F/N. She was smearing peanut butter on pieces of bread.

Ran and Ren were sitting at the table, whispering to each other loudly. Makoto approached them and placed his hands on top of their heads. "Hey," he smiled. Ran and Ren looked up at him. "Onii-chan, I'm tired," Ren murmured. Makoto ruffled his hair a little. "Aren't you hungry?" he asked.

Ren shrugged. Makoto brought his hands off their heads and turned to see F/N finished. She took two plates with the sandwiches and placed them in front Ran and Ren. "What about the jelly?" he asked teasingly. F/N's cheeks turned pale pink. "Your brother and sister told me they didn't want any," she said.

A faint smile crept onto her lips. She watched him, eyes filled with light. Ran and Ren thanked her. Makoto proceeded with the making of his sandwich.

Peanut butter sandwiches for breakfast was something new for him. And so that's what the swimmer experienced that morning. The sandwich tasted good.

Finally something sweet to take in. But things like that normally did come with a price. Makoto knew he hadn't swam nor worked out in a few days now. Looking at the mirror, he lifted his shirt up a little. His abs were still there until he placed a hand on his stomach. That firmness was a little off. Sighing quietly, he dropped his shirt.

That urge to swim came back and hit him. Makoto squeezed his eyes shut. He had to proceed with taking care of things now. Get on with your life.

"Onii-chan." Makoto watched as Ran was trying to adjust herself onto his lap. He held a finger up to his nose as he dialed the number for the police. Ran went to sit next to him on the couch. Before Makoto called the number, he poked his sister's cheek playfully. "Where's Ren?" he asked.

Ran shrugged. "He went to watch F/N do homework I think." Makoto nodded and pressed the button to call. "Stay quiet okay?" he murmured. Ran nodded. Taking a deep breath, he began with a hello and took it from there.

Not sure. That was what Makoto wanted to say when F/N asked him how it went. But he was in the main seat of hearing and knowing everything. Makoto's call had been answered first of course. A woman picked up from the police department this time.

Questions were asked slowly to her as Makoto bit his  bottom lip and felt the shaking of his legs.

It didn't feel like a thing he had done before, but he did it; talk about the death of his parents. The woman over the phone had told him their bodies had been prepared for elimination. This struck a thorn through Makoto's heart.

It really did feel as if the blood was dripping down. He begged the woman to not to and instead recite a proper funeral for them. Money would have then been needed. It was no small bill to be paid.

But Makoto was caught up within the moment. So he accepted for paying the expensive payment for the funeral of his parents.

Mom, Dad...

He really did care for his parents. Love drove him to make that decision. Right now, Makoto had no money on him. And so, he was told the funeral will be held on Sunday. He wasn't familiar with the location so he had to find that out.

Thoughts piled up on 'top of each other in Makoto's mind endlessly. What did I agree to? No, I have to. M-my parents... Tears threatened to fall when he looked at F/N.

The wall didn't last and broke, spilling out his tears. He really did feel pathetic and foolish for crying. He made that decision himself and crying shouldn't be happening now. A child does that, but a college student is taking on that role today.

Makoto tried to hold it back.

"Makoto!"

F/N pulled him into a tight embrace. The swimmer's body jolted at her reaction. Tears dripped down onto her head as Makoto tried to regain control again.

Dammit.

He breathed in F/N's scent as he took it back again. Sighing heavily, Makoto brought his arms around F/N.
"Thank you," he whispered. She didn't let go.
