Jak knew that voice,he awoke looking down a hall. Only seeing a bright light at the end and the silhouette of a woman. He couldn't make any features out of the woman but she had a comforting feeling coming from her.
He noticed that she had something in her arm..a baby.
He started walking slowly up to the both.
Let love run around free,
Hesitance left be,

He knew this song..he had heard it before. He knew who sang it.
"Mom?" He yelled expecting the woman to turn to look at him. The woman looked up from the baby..she wasn't listening to jak..
A loud bang was heard as the woman jumped and ran to hide the baby.
She his the child and as soon as she turned around there was a man standing behind her.
She yelled as the man pulled out a dagger.
"Mom!"
Jak ran but it seemed as if he was running in slow motion.
He wasn't fast enough to stop the man from stabbing the woman repeatedly in the chest in the stomach.
The noise she made...it was...horrible.
As soon as he made it to the woman's body he woke up.
Jak sat up and realized that he was in a cell. Not in the hallway he was in before.
It was...a dream.
He sighed as he started remembering everything that happened before he knocked out.
He looked for sly in the cell to find him curled into a ball on the floor sleeping.
He sat next to him,laying sly on his lap petting him. They were going to be there a long time.
~ratchet's pov~
He couldn't just sit around anymore. If they were just going to save one man they would have been back. The golden lombax just made scenarios in his head. He has been doing so all day.
He rejected everything and anything Bentley and Murray did for him to try to calm him down.
"Guys. I'm gonna go look for them." Ratchet stood up as Bentley and Murray stood up.
"Ratchet, you can't!" The turtle screamed as he stood in front of the door ratchet was about to go out.
"Just wait a little longer pal!" Murray said as he grabbed ratchet's shoulders.
"And what if something happened to my brothers?!" The lombax had a worried expression on his face.
Bentley and murray taken back by what ratchet just called sly and jak,just stared at him. Not exactly knowing what to do. Until they heard the voice of a mysterious man.
"I can help you."
They all looked at the window to see the man jak and sly were trying to 'rescue'.
