Attack

"So where do you live?" Kaneki asks his date.
"Just a few blo-" Rize pauses, glancing over her shoulder.
"What is it?" Kaneki asks.
"Nothing." The sound of footsteps follows Rize's response. Their follower tails them for a few blocks, keeping their distance. Coming to a construction area, they stop. They begin talking. Bleached hair pokes out from around a corner. It's Hide. Rize is close to Kaneki. 'Too close.' Hide thinks 'I should have never let him go on this date. Who does she think she is taking my Kaneki out on a date.' Shaking his head to rid his thoughts, Hide looks back to the pair ahead of him. There's a red fog-like substance manifesting by Rize's lower back. Through the fog, a red, pulsing tentacle creeps over her shoulder and posies in front of Kaneki's face. She leans forward and blood is spurting from Kaneki's shoulder. He stumbles backwards and trips, falling back to the ground. She bit him! Three more tentacles burst from Rize's lower back. Kaneki panics and attempts to crawl away. Hide rushes out from his hiding place, stopping a few feet away from the crazed ghoul.
"Leave him alone!" He shouts. Rize cocks her head at an odd angle to stare at Hide.
"Run Kaneki!"
"Hide no!" Kaneki shouts, scrambling to his feet, holding his injured shoulder. Rize stands between the boys, head swiveling from one to the other. Her head droops and her shoulders being bouncing. Her head tilts up towards the sky and she's laughing.
She wipes a tear from one of her black and red eyes.
"Looks like the prince found his damsel in distress. Now where's your weapon for slaying the dragon, huh boy?!" she says amused.
"I'm no hero." Hide states before he turns to run down the alley he came from. Kaneki runs the opposite way. Rize chases after Kaneki. Turning a corner, Hide finds himself inside the construction site, behind Rize again. Between himself and Kaneki. He needed to get Kaneki out of there.
"Back so soon prince?" Rize says innocently. Hide looks past Rize and spots Kaneki, shoulder still bleeding, but he's standing.
"I guess I should kill the prince before eating his princess." A red tentacle launches towards Hide. He narrowly dodges it, but another is there to meet him, impaling him in the side, messing up his insides. Falling to his knees, Hide watches as Rize strolls towards Kaneki. Impaling him before grabbing him by the ankle with one of her tentacles, she easily tosses the raven haired boy across the site. He crashes into a pile of wooden planks. Kaneki is losing blood fast and is unconcious. Losing consciousness, Hide watches from afar as steel beams fall from above, crushing Rize. Hide passes out. The last thing he remembers is the overwhelming stench of blood.
