Chapter 08 : Rebellion !!!

"Okay then. What's the plan?" asked Crystal to Cordy.

They were planning an escapement and how to beat Sade.

"Well, we need fire." And for a second, Crystal thought she had heard wrong.

"Excuse me? What was you saying? Fire? We need fire?" asked Crystal with hope that she had heard wrong.

"Yup. We need it and... don't worry. I know what you're thinking and, hhh... you're right." She raised an eyebrow.

Gee, seriously? Do you have to said everything in pieces? You hit my curiosity spot, Cordy. Well done, I hate it a lot.

"Both of us can't deal with fire. You're water and I'm ice. I'm gonna melt and you're gonna boil if we touch them for too long. Right?"

"Yep, you're right. Hmm... only fire that could defeat him?? No other way??"

"Unfortunately, not." said Cordy.

Crystal sighed. How could they defeat him if they can't even touch a single fire. Only Collin who can touch it since fairy pets are coldproof and fireproof. Suddenly, an idea popped in her head.

"Collin, do you still keep the fire stone that Sparkle gave us?" asked Crystal with sparks of hope in her eyes. She know this is their last chance.

"Hmm... zuwee kakaz. Oh... ratakaz. (Hmm... let me see it first. Oh... here it is.)"

"Hey... what's that???" asked Cordy in a curious tone.

"Oh, these? These are fire stones. With a spell, they can turn into fire. We could use this to beat him." Crystal explained.

"Whoa... I don't even know those were existed. That will be really useful."

"Hahaha... right, we'll be able to defeat Sade with these." said Crystal, "Come on, help me with these."

"Okay, everybody know their roles?" asked Crystal to Cordy and Collin.

"Yes."

"Zuu!"

"Let's do this," said Crystal, giving courage to her two companions.

Cordy went to where his brother was right now while Crystal and Collin waited for him. Every second passed, her heart beat faster than before. Collin who was holding the fire stones, was right behind her, calming his panicked companion.

Suddenly, they heard an argument from the left corridor and her plan had worked a bit. Sade burst out from the corridor, holding the metal frozen in his hand. He was arguing with Cordy and Cordy gestured at Crystal to snatched the metal now. No matter what the argument was about, she needed to move fast.

She put her hand above an ice and concentrated. She had to turn that ice into water and blast it to Sade. She knew that Cordy can't take Sade's attention all the time.

She felt the ice slowly turned into water so she concentrate harder. She felt that the ice had fully changed into water and that the water was under her control, pleading her to do something. She raised her hand up in the air and the water followed. She blasted the water into Sade direction and he was thrown to the wall, hitting his head. He lost his grip on the metal frozen then Cordy snatched it with full speed. Crystal then flew to Collin, who was rubbing the stones to warm it up.

"Okay Collin, it's time."

"Zuu... nakawa karaza yaat. (No... it's not ready yet.)" A frustrated face appear in Collin's face as he rubbed the stones. The fire stones have to be red before they're ready to be used.

"Collin needs time," Crystal gasped as she saw Sade had set his feet and marched to them. He yanked his hand and an ice blade appeared magically. She gulped then glanced at Collin. It's still grey, not red yet. "Collin come on. How much longer?" "Zuuwa nakan. (I don't know.)"

Cordy drew his sword. "I'll hold Sade while you guys prepared the fire." He handed Crystal the metal frozen. When Sade saw his brother walked toward him, anger boiled over him.

"Cordy! You have betrayed me! You'll never be forgiven."

"Heh, I don't need your forgiveness." He ran and Charged on Sade.

Crystal was frustrated. Cordy could only held Sade for awhile and those stupid stones haven't got a slight red color. She has to do something! She can't just stay there watching them.

She flew to Cordy and tried to fought Sade. She blasted some water toward Sade's face. But he was just too strong. Even if there's water in his eyes, he knew where his target's standing.

"Cody, he's too strong. We have to retreat." Crystal pleaded. She blasted some water again but Sade turned it into ice. He broke the ice and he knocked down Cordy. She ran to him.

"I'm alright. Don't worry," he said softly. He moaned as Crystal touched his head where Sdae had hit him with his blade. "Run, Crystal. You can't deal with him."

Crystal shooked her head and took Cordy's sword. "I'll need this," Crystal ran to Sade and swung the sword to hit his cheek. Unfortunately, Sade smashed the sword hardly and it broke to pieces. Oh great, now I've got no weapon, she thought.

"No one can oppose me, you stupid little fairy," he snapped. He blasted some ice from his hand. Crystal rolled to the left and saw the ice was flying straight to Collin.

"Collin, watch out!" She set her feet and flew. She pushed him out as the ice hit her cheek.

"Rada. Cotu starun naku (Red. Let's set the fire)" said Collin. She chanted the spell and saw the fire dancing around the stones. They both flew to the center of the ice cave and Collin slowly put the fire stones above the ice. The ice started to melt and so the rest of the cave. Cordy who has recovered from the knock down approached them. Sade immediately waked to them, trying to stop them from destroying his empire. Cordy saw him and drew a new sword, protecting Crystal and Collin.

"Stupid," he smirked as water filling the place. "You see, I can turn the water into ice again."

"Good idea, but I'm here to stop you, Sade." he said as he charged him.

"Faster Collin. Can't this stones melt faster?" She looked around. They had sealed the entrance and also had melted half of the cave. She turned to Collin and said, "That's it Collin. We're done doing this, follow me."

She stretched her arm and tried to control the water. At first, the water struggle against her. She knew why, the water a.k.a the melted ice was still under Sade's control. After all, it is his ice. She put more power and concentration. The water slowly following her will and Crystal kept concentrating until all of the water was under her control. Then she swung her hands toward Sade who was fighting Cordy. Sade got hit and he knocked to the floor. Collin then flew to him and put the fire stones above him.

"Arghhh...  hot, hot, HOT!! Get this thing off from me. Help! Help! He-e-elppp..." Sade's body turn into grey. To fairies, grey body means dead.

"That... was... AWESOME!! I can't believe it! Finally we defeat him." They then do a group hug and headed outside the cave. "Ahh... I finally can have my freedom," he sighed in relief. He turned to Crystal and asked, "Where's the metal frozen?" She pulled the metal out of her pocket and showed it to him.

"Wait... how can it fit your small pocket?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Hahaha... it's called magic." She and Collin laughed then Cordy joined them.

"Ne, ne, rotana kana go ichiudes etana. (Hey, hey, starting tomorrow we only got eight days left.)" Collin said. Crystal managed to nod but the collapsed to the ground, feeling exhausted and dizzy.
