It was a nice sunny day until....
Catharine hated her family her mom didn't care about her and her sister was the same. The only person Catharine ever liked was her father but unfortunately he passed away when she was 10 now she is 14 but Catharine Still couldn't get over the fact that her father was no longer with her. Catherine's father used to call her Cathy she loved that name but nobady no longer called her that.Cathy's sister also treated her like she was invisible Cathy felt like she didn't belong in the world...
Cathy's birthday was in 2 weeks but she didn't care she would think to herself what's the point of being happy about your birthday if even your mother wasn't bothered to tell you happy birthday.
''Cathy!'' Screamed her mom from downstairs "get down here , I have an early birthday gift for you!" She said. Oh my god my own mother has a gift for me thought Cathy this was the first time her mother gave her a gift or anything pleasant for that matter. Cathy rushed downstairs to see what was going on. She saw her mom with greasy hair standing in the corner holding a scary , brown teddy. "Do you like it sweetie?" She asked with a slight of sarcasm in her voice "I bought it specially for you." She said with a creepy smile. "Erm its beautiful mom thank you" she said. " You selfish little brat!" She screamed "I know you hate it stop being such a liar, no go away and lock yourself in your room!!" She demanded. Cathy grabbed the disgraceful bear and ran upstairs to her room full of tears in her eyes. She slammed the door and throwed her teddy against her wardrope Suddenly out of nowwhere Mellisa stormed through the door. Mellisa and Cathy were very different, Catharine had red , curly hair with green eyes just like her father. But Mellisa had dark brown hair with brown eyes. And the mom had blond greasy hair with very unusual eyes one was green and the other was brown.
"Do you want to see what mother gave me!?" She said in a sarcastic , annoying voice. She pulled out a pink puffy bag. "I wonder what she gave you , bye little twat !" She said and she headed for the door.
Cathy layed down on her bed and started to cry...but tommorow is the start of the year and Cathy is going to her new boarding school which will probably be better than home.
*sorry that's the end of the chapter its a little boring but the second one will be more interesting I promise bye:)*
