"Hey. I'm here." Nash said as he walked through my door.

"Come here." I patted the spot on my bed.

He followed my directions and played with my hair. "What are you doing?" I asked and chuckled.

"You have nice hair."

"Thanks I guess. But that's not why I called you over. I need you to help me with something." I say and bite my lip.

"What do you need?"

"Today, Cameron came over. His mom actually just left like 30 minutes ago, anyways, Cam kissed me."

"He what?" Nash seemed more upset than surprised.

"Yeah, he kissed me. And he left. And I want to know why."

"Why would you want to know?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Because I know Cameron. Well-I used to know Cameron, I don't know about now-anyways, I know the old him and the old him wouldn't just kiss me, and even if he did, he wouldn't just walk off without an explanation."

"How do you know?" Nash asks

"Well..."

"Cameron! Please! Stop!" I said out of breath as Cam tickled me. "Not until you say your sorry."

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" I tried to say.

"For what?"

"For laughing at you!" I said and Cameron stopped tickling me but he stayed laying on top of me.

"Can you get off?" I chuckled.

"No. I'm comfortable." He smirked and winked.

"Cam, you're disgusting." I laughed.

"Kiss me." He suddenly said. My eyes widened and before I could react, his lips were on mine. I didn't kiss back but if I knew what was going on, trust me, I would. Cam pulled away and stared at me.

"W-what was that for?" I asked.

"I wanted to try it." Cameron seemed surprised at his own actions. "I should leave. I'll see you later Eva." He climbed off of me and ran out of my room.

*present day*

"So Cam was your first kiss?" Nash seemed upset.

"Um...yes. Yes, he was."

Nash cleared his throat and repositioned himself on the bed so he was comfortable. "I um, I know this isn't really a good time to do this but--um--will-will you go to the winter dance with me?" For some reason, Nash seemed nervous.

I don't even know why. It's just a dance. But I know that if I was in his position and had a chance of being the most embarrassed I'd ever be, I'd also be nervous.

"Yeah! I would love that!" I smiled. Nash smiled back and hugged me. We both pulled apart from each other and stared into each others eyes. Nash started to lean in. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to kiss him right now. But before I could do anything, his lips were on mine.

I kissed back so it didn't seem like I didn't want to so by the time Nash pulled away, he was smiling. I smiled back and placed my hand on his shoulder. "So...about Cam...I think he's just trying to distract you. He's probably planning something." Nash said.

I opened my mouth in disbelief "I haven't thought of that. That's a really good guess Nash. We need to figure everything out." I jumped off of the bed and started pacing around the room, biting on my lip.

I jump "I need a dress! The dance is this week! I only have 3 days!" I panicked. "What colors are we going to wear? I want to match so we don't look like that weird couple that looks like a rainbow."

Nash crosses his arms and thought. "Maybe we should wear...blue. Like a light blue. It is both of our favorite colors and its a winter dance. Blue reminds people of winter." I smile and nod.

"I'm going to look for a dress now. I'll see you later." I walked up to Nash and hugged him. I pulled away and hesitantly placed my lips on his.

It was only to make him happy.

I waved goodbye and we both left the house, going our separate ways as I drove my moms car to the mall.
