"Bye Cam." I went in for a hug as Cameron walked out of my house. He leaned into my face but I cocked my head to the side. "We're just friends...you know that right?" I say, patting his chest."Um, yeah. I'm sorry." He said awkwardly. "I would be fine...its just that you're still with Madison. It's not right, even if we both hate each other."
*3 years before*
"Ugh! I love Madison so much! I just want to ask her out already!" Cameron whined while staring up at the ceiling.
"Then why don't you?" I ask
"Because, you don't like her so I don't want you to be miserable." Cam smiled at me. "Well, I'm not going to miserable."
I tell him. "Don't not have a relationship because of me.""It's not because of you. It's because of our relationship. I don't want to ruin that"
I smiled and hugged him. "You better ask her out eventually because you need someone you loner. You don't always have to be with me. I can survive a day or two without you."
"No you can't."
"I know but your wasting your time hanging out with me." I frowned.
"All the time being 'wasted' is all worth it." Cam kissed the top of my head."
*present day*
"So I'll see you later, right?" Cam shouted as he crossed the street.
"Duh." I waved and closed my door. I walked upstairs and laid in my bed, waiting for sleep to take over me.
Cam's POV
"Hey Robin." I say as I stepped into his room.
"What do you want now? Didn't we just speak on the phone?" He seemed annoyed as always.
"Yeah. I told you I was coming over." I sassed.
"Oh. Right. What do you want?"
"I'm gonna get straight to the point. I want out of our deal. Not temporarily. Not for 'a little while'. Forever. I just want out. I can't do this anymore." I ran my fingers through my hair.
"You. Want. Out? Um...Cameron...you can't just 'get out' of my deals. You either stay or pay me." Robin stands up from his desk seat and crosses his arms.
"How much?" I ask and take out my wallet.
"700,000" I drop my wallet and stare at him with disbelief.
"Seven hundred thousand dollars?" I ask wide eyed. Robin nods and smirks. "When do you need it by?" I ask
"Tomorrow." He answered. I choked on a lump in my throat. "Give it to me tomorrow or else I'll hurt you and your little friend." Robin threatened.
"Madison?"
"No. The other one." He smirked.
Eva.
"No. Don't hurt her. I'll bring the money. I promise." I hurriedly spoke and picked up my wallet from the floor.
"You better. And don't try to do anything sketchy or any of that shit. I will find you and kill you both." He warned. I nodded and walked out of the room slowly with fear. Once I was out of the small apartment and in my car, I took my phone out and selected Madison's contact.
