It was two, count them, two days until homecoming.
woah woah woah.
where the fuck did the time go??
I feel as if September always goes that way though. I mean someone wake the guy from green day up, September ended. Homecoming was in two days. J.D was going with me. J.D is going to meet me. My parents don't know who J.D. is.
OH SHIT.
It's alright though, Taylor had a plan.
Taylor would help tell my parents with me. She would be there. I wouldn't die. Or would I? Oh Shit.

After school Taylor came home with me on the bus, the total buzz on the bus was about the pep rally we all were just told about that would be Friday. But that was not what I was thinking about. I couldn't help but think about J.D. Would he look how he looked in the photos, would he have an accent, would he be just how he is online in person? I had so many questions, so many needed answers, answers that wouldn't come unless I told my parents that I was going to meet J.D and they had no say against it; Well, that's not exactly what Taylor's plan was. Basically we were going to say we met J.D through our friend Antonio who recently moved to the next town over. The plan was fool proof! Expect the fact that my parents didn't like Antonio much. Oh boy. Panic attack waiting to happen.
At the normal 2:30 PM time Taylor and I got off my bus and made our way into my house. Well here's the disclaimer, my first parental figure didn't actually get home until 5:00 PM, so I had a good 2 and a half hours to have the thought and nervousness about telling them about him in the back of my mind.
"Are you nervous?"
"Eh." I said trying to make it not obvious.
"You're my bestfriend, I know that you're nervous."
"I am."
"It's going to be okay."
"I hope so."

5:00 PM: No sign of mom to pull into driveway, still alive still alive.
5:00:04 PM: JESUS CHRIST I CANT DO THIS.
5:05 PM: Taylor won't let me back out.

At 5:10 PM mom came home. She looked as if she had had a rough day at work. Taylor and I followed her out to the garage, where she lit a cigarette, sat down and started talking about her day. I tried to listen, I really did, but I was too focused on what I was thinking about J.D coming. So naturally Taylor has a conversation with my mom about her day. This was typical for her, whenever she was over at my house and mom had gotten home from work she'd always come out and have a conversation with her, like I do every day after school.
"Victoria has something to tell you."  Taylor said with a giant grin on her face.
"Oh yeah? What is it honey?" Mom smiled as me then took another puff of her cigarette.
"Do you remember Antonio?"
"The one who moved a couple towns over?"
"Yeah, the one I was friends with."
"Yeah what about him?"
"He has a friend who's into her, named J.D, and he's coming to homecoming to meet her."
"Oh honey that's great!"
"It is?"
"Yeah! it's about time you began having a social life."
Wow. That was low mom.
"Yeah, haha funny."
"Do you know what he looks like?"
I shook my head.
"So this is more of a blind date?"
"Well, it's not really a date."
"I'm calling it a date to your grandparents when I tell them on the phone!"
"Mom no."
"HAHA MOM YES." Taylor laughed, so hard her voice cracked.
"Taylor you're not apart of this."
"I'm excited for you honey!" Mom gave me a big hug.
"Thanks."
"Blind dates usually suck though so don't be surprised if he turns out not as cute as you thought he'd be!"
"Oh. okay."
"Well I mean I met your father through a blind date."
"That's great mom."
"Yeah and after diner we-"
"I've heard enough."

After mom finished her cigarette Taylor and I went in my room. I screamed. Not at the top of my lungs scream, The I'm so happy it's over with scream.
