"Erica?" The door slides open as my sleep deprived, overworked father walks into the room. He has a thick beard, pushed back silky hair and some thick lensed glasses.
"Yeah?" I say in a muffled tone. It was the first day of school, new year, new school, new life, right? Well hopefully.
"Sweety, come on, get up. Don't want to be late do we?"
My dad was a single father and, well, tried his best at it. We move around a lot because his work requires him to. He's an accountant for Generations Corp. Just some middleman for another big company.

"Alright, Alright." I say waving my hand to signal that I'm awake.
I throw on a flannel and some jeans and nearly walk out the door without my glasses.
We chose this house because it was a couple houses down from the bus stop.
From what I could tell only me and a some guy down the street went to Willow High.

I stood at the bus stop waiting while the other boy stood awkwardly next to me. To be honest he seemed a little movie like nerd to me. He had the wide black glasses, zits so red they seemed to be fake, and a buttoned up tee with pens in his pocket.
As the bus rolled up I took one last look at the boy and jumped on the bus. I was the first stop of the day so I could sit anywhere.
The rest of the ride was quiet, I guess not many people went to this school. When I got off the bus I went to the homeroom that my dad told me to go to.
I was assigned room 108, the top of the door read 'Salve'.
"Great, Latin." I muttered to myself.
"Oh! Good you must be the new student that the front sent me to find." Said this blond haired blue eyed girl who popped out of nowhere. She seemed the cheerleader type, with her short skirt and slightly too revealing top.
"Who schedules this stuff?" She says while flipping through an oddly think binder. It looks as though someone tried to organize it long ago but now it's just a jumbled mess of papers and slips.
"Erica, right?" She looks up to me, slightly flustered
"Uh, yeah?" She puts her binder back in her bag, after pulling out a slip out of the middle of the binder, and says," I'm here to show you around. This school isn't like most schools."
I give her a confused look but just looks past it.
"It's good, I think this is my homeroom anyways." I reply trying to get rid of her.
She looks to me and then at the door then back at me. She points kinda sideways at me and the door.
"Are you sure? Because this room has been closed since Ms. Wrathrunny left. No one really knows where she went, but that's no surprise, Ms.Wrathrunny is a little out there herself."
