Remus imagine

A/N: Hey guys, I'm still deciding whether or not to make a Marauders Era preference book, but here is an imagine!!

You swayed in the air on your broom, keeping alert. You smile at your twin brother Sirius Black but then focusing again on the game. Your other friend James Potter who normally played Chaser, was substituting for seeker. He swoops down with the other seeker, and both have an equal chance to get the snitch.

Two of the chasers from the other team comes flying towards you. They pass to each other before one throws it towards the left hoop. You make a long dive to save it...and catch it! Just before James caught the snitch! The crowd erupts into cheers. You fly down and high five your team.

You get swept away to the Gryffindor common room, where James, Sirius, and Peter are throwing a party for the team. For a few minutes, you stick around, but you want some peace and quiet. You grab a muggle book Remus gave you and sneak out of the common room. You sneak towards the Room of Requirement, when you hear something behind you. You turn and see nothing. You Should've brought the invisibility cloak.

You go inside and curl up with the book. After twenty minutes or so, a noise scares you. You look up and see Remus. "For Merlin's sake, Moony. You scared me." You say with a laugh. He awkardly laughs back.

"So...you come here to read, too? I thought you'd be at the party." You say, feeling the awkwardness. He let's out a short, meaningless laugh. "Of all people to be at the party? No thanks. And yes, I come here to read a lot when the others are being loud." She laugh but it's a weird, almost nervous, laugh.

Lately, you'd be having mixed emotions toward your friend. Did he suddenly get cute? Or was he always like that and you didn't want to admit it? You blush at your own thoughts. Remus takes a seat next to you.

"Y/n...I've never said this before because you're Sirius' twin, but...I've really like you." He says at last. You freeze but your mind races. Is this really happening? Is this just a joke? Is Sirius and James behind this? Wait, does he actually mean it? Can he read my mind? Meow if you can read my mind!

You unfreeze after him not meowing, mentally cursing at yourself for acting so foolishly. Of course he can't read your mind, and Remus is too kind to take part in actually prank like that. "I...i.." You start to stutter, and both of your faces turn scarlet.

"Ilikeyoutooalotactuallybutdonttellmybrotherimsoawkwardimsorry." You blurt out, all of your words mashed into one really long word. He laughs, apparently able to understand what you said. "Of course I won't tell Sirius if you don't want me to." He says with a gentle smile that makes your insides fill with butterflies.

He leans in towards you with his eyes starting to close. Your heart races. You know what's going to happen next, and you don't want to mess it up for yourself or Remus. You close your eyes and allow him to kiss you. Let's just say you were kissing for awhile ;)

After a little bit, an awkward throat clear pulls you two apart. As you two are pulling apart Sirius yells, "What in bloody Merlin's sake were you doing to my sister?" Peter and James smile to themselves. "I told him not to come here." James says, and you spot the map you guys made sticking out of his pocket. He must've seen you two disappear off the map.

"I, uh, it.." Remus stammers, daggers being glared at him by your twin. "You were snogging her! Of all the people to be able to snog her! I thought James would end up with her!" He says. You cross your arms, offended.

James just laughs again. "Come on Pad foot, let's leave them be."
