I am soooooo sorry! I know it’s been months since I’ve written anything. I’ve been terribly ill. I’ve had a serious case of writer’s black and laziness and was abducted by my best friend and then by my grandparents and then I just didn’t feel like writing or couldn’t focus on writing and I know I shouldn’t make excuses and noting can make up for it but I am super, duper sorry.
Louis’s POV
“So, what have you girls been up to?” I ask Avi. We’re Skyping right now. We’ve been on tour for three weeks and I miss her like crazy. It feels like she’s a world away. She’s got red paint in her hair, so I know they must’ve been up to something.
“Not much. Me, Ella, and Ame went and saw a movie earlier. And then I spent the rest of the day working on a painting.” Ahh, that explains the paint.
“Awesome. How’s it coming?”
“It’s getting there. I ran out of green paint so I need to go to the store tomorrow and get some before I can finish it.”
“What are you painting?”
“The Christmas tree. It’s kind of a tradition. I paint a picture for every holiday. For Christmas I always paint the tree in whatever house I’m staying in.”
“That’s cool. What do you do for New Years?”
“I normally paint a portrait of the family photo we usually take every year. I don’t know what I’ll do this year. Maybe take a pic of all us girls in our party dresses and paint it.”
“That’d be neat. If you do that, make sure you send us all copies of the picture.”
“I’ll do even better. I’ll let you guys hang it up in the house.”
“That’d be perfect.” She grins and I grin back.
“I miss you.” She says.
“I miss you too. But hey, we’re almost one moth through the tour.” I say, trying to be enthusiastic.
“One month down, six to go.” She says, looking down at her hands which are in her lap. I sigh.
“We’ll see each other soon. You guys are coming with us for the shows in England and Ireland, right?”
“Yeah, but that’s another month away.” She whines.
“I know.” She looks at the clock on her nightstand and pouts.
“I gotta go. We’re going out somewhere tonight.” She says.
“Alright princess. I love you.”
“I love you too.” She hangs up. I sigh and turn my laptop off. Then I climb out of my bunk and head towards the “living room”. Everyone else is there already.
“Did Avi just get off Skype with you?” Liam asks me.
“Yeah, why?”
“Because all the girls just stopped texting, Skyping, or hung up with each of us.” Harry says.
“We think they’re planning something.” Niall adds.
“It could just be a coincidence.” I suggest.
“If it had just been two or three of them maybe. But all five of them, within two minutes of each other?” Zayn asks.
“Avi says they’re going out somewhere. She didn’t say who, so it could be all of them.” I point out.
“Ame told me she’s going to watch Batman.” Niall tells me.
“Carolyn is going to sleep.” Zayn says.
“Arella and Avi are helping Uncle Max with something.” Liam adds.
“And Winter is meeting up with Jade so she can dye her hair.” Harry finishes.
“They all told us different stories.” I say, realizing that they’re right. “They’re definitely planning something.”
“But what?” Niall asks.
“Who knows? They’re all smart and devious. They could be doing anything from redecorating the house to robbing a bank.” Liam says.
“They better not be robbing a bank…”
“That was a joke Zayn.”
“I know, but still.”
“Well, I’m going to go out and see if I can make it past the venue without being murdered by “loving” fans. Coming Harry?” I ask.
“Sure.” He gets up and we leave the bus. “Are we getting stuff to mess with the others?”
“Yup.” We high five and make our way out to the busy streets of Houston.
Several hours later and we’re all walking back to the bus. We called Zayn, Niall and Liam out to meet us at a restaurant for dinner after we bought all the stuff we wanted. It was some good food. Without realizing it, I had ordered Avi’s favorite thing to get when we go to restaurants; grilled chicken fettuccini. God I miss her. As we get closer to the bus I notice that all the lights are off. We always leave at least one light on when we all go out. Maybe they forgot and turned them all off. I just shrug and go inside. I turn on the light and am attacked by a streak of black, pink, and purple. Avi! I hug her tight and look around to see all the girls are here and everyone’s hugging. I pull back from Avi a bit and she looks up at me.
“How did you get here?” I ask her.
“We flew here, duh.” She says, smiling.
“So quickly? It can’t have been more than three hours since we talked to you guys.” Liam says.
“I called in a favor from my cousin. He’s a pilot.” Arella explains.
“Most terrifying flight of my life.” Avi says with a fake shudder. We all laugh and just sit around talking for a long time. I’m so glad I have Avi back.
