Sorry for not updating in a while.  I’ve been kinda busy and the girl I go to for ideas for this story had the texting on her phone turned off so I haven’t been able to talk to her as much and haven’t had any inspiration.  Then I got sick and just didn’t feel like doing anything.  Well, here’s the next chapter.  Enjoy.

Louis’s POV

“And, you’re dress, is, perfect.”  I say, holding up Avi’s dress which I’d somehow managed to save.

“Louis! You’re a life saver!”  She cries, giving me a huge hug.  “This is the only dress I have here and it’s my favorite dress.”  She takes it from me and examines it, grinning.

“Word of advice; don’t wear your favorite clothing to hang out with us.”  Ame says.  Avi smiles up at me again.

“Thanks a million Louis.”  She says.

“You’re very welcome.  A princess needs a pretty dress after all.”  That was apparently the wrong thing to say because she froze and stared at me, her face slowly turning scarlet.  Then she looked down and kinda shrunk in on herself.

“Did you just call her a princess?”  Arella asks.

“Um, yes?”

“No one has ever called me a princess.”  Avi says in a small voice.  Now it’s everyone else’s turn to stare.

“No one?”  I repeat.

“Ever?”  Liam asks.  She shakes her head.

“She doesn’t have much of a family and hasn’t really dated anyone, so it’s not that hard to believe.”  Arella says.

“Have you ever been called princess?”  Liam asks her.

“Yeah, loads of times by my uncles and once by my cousin.  He had to get neutered after that.”  She says with a shrug.  Harry casually covers his crotch.  Avi giggles.

“That was a fun night.”  She says.  And once again, Arella manages to get Avi to quit acting shy.  I think that’s the first time I’ve heard her giggle over something not said by me.  That has got to be fixed.  But how do I make her giggle?  Oh, I know.

“I’m bored!” I whine loudly.  She giggles.  Yes!  Victory is mine!  Liam just groans.

Liam’s POV

After half an hour of Louis complaining non-stop about being bored, Niall suggested we go play paintball.  The girls admitted they’ve never played before, so of course we all insisted that’s what we were going to go do.  So here we are.  Me, Arella, Harry, Ame, and Carolyn are on one team; Louis, Avi, Zayn, Niall, and Winter are on the other.  This should be interesting.

“Just stick by me and try not to get shot.”  I tell Arella.  She nods.  The bell rings and we all go into the arena.

Me and Arella crouch behind a wall.  I can see Harry leaning against a stack of tires a few meters in front of us.  Ame is probably as close to the enemy as can be while Carolyn is hiding in a tunnel hoping not to be found.  We’re playing with slingshots instead of guns.  I see a movement out of the corner of my eye and look to see Ame slowly creeping towards and old car.  I wonder who she saw hiding behind it.  Then I suddenly see Zayn jump out and shoot at her, but that’s all I see before me and Arella are attacked from behind, by Avi.  Arella turns, aims, and hits her in one fluid motion.  Avi squeals and ducks behind a tree for cover.  Me and Arella move forward, planning to each jump around different sides of the tree and get her at the same time.  We’re just about to jump around it when I see Niall fire at Arella.  I dive to the side and knock her over, but I land on top of her, our chest pressed together.  We lie there for a second, stunned, and then I look down at her.  She blushes a bit.  I move to get up but I’m shot from behind, right between my shoulder blades.  I fall forward… and my lips brush against Arella’s…  I freeze.  I am so dead.  She is so going to kill me.  And I’m still just lying here, my lips gently pressed against hers.  And then, out of nowhere, she kisses me!  Then she shoves me off her, grabs her slingshot and hits Avi again, right in the gut.  She turns around completely and runs this time.  Arella is on her feet in seconds and is chasing after her.  I’m left lying there on the ground, too stunned to move.  That is, until I see Winter running towards me, the slingshot drawn back and ready to release.  Then I roll out of the way just in time.
