The Lone Wolf

Chapter 3

Alexis's POV

I woke up to the sound of dogs barking. I growled a little and put my head back down. I hate being in here. These dogs bark too much. I heard whistling so I got up and looked outside of the cage. Shawn was putting food in everyone's cage. I started pawing at the cage and he smiled at me. He came over to my cage.

" Hey girl. I am taking you home today." He said me I howled. I am so happy. I finally get to go home with him. I can finally leave this dreadful place. I haven't been able to turn back into my human form since I got caught. Shawn smiled and opened my cage. I rubbed into him and he pet me. He put down the food dish and I turned away from it.

" You have to eat Bella." He said and I sneezed and shook my head. He sighed and left my cage. I whined a little and he laughed.

" I have to feed the other dogs. I will be back to get you." He said and started walking to the other cages. I growled a little and went to sit in the back of my cage. I am really hungry but I am not going to eat whatever they put in that dish. I decided to take a little nap to pass the time.

I was woken up by the sound of someone tapping on my cage and calling my name.

" Bella." Shawn said and I put my head up.

" You ready to go home with me?" He asked and I hopped up and ran to the front of the cage. He laughed and opened it. He came inside and put something around my neck. I didn't really like it but I would never bite Shawn. He then attached something to the thing on my neck and opened up the cage door. He walked out with me and we walked out of the place they were keeping me. We walked out into a place full of cars. We walked to what I am guessing is his car. He opened the back seat and told me to hop in. I jumped in and he closed the door. He got into the car and started it. We started driving somewhere. I looked out the window and looked at all the things that I haven't seen before. My father never let anyone in the pack go to the human world. He kicked me out of the pack because I went to the human world and brought some of the young ones of the pack. I only know a few things of the human world. I growled at the thought of my father and Shawn looked back at me with confusion.

" You okay girl?" He asked and I licked his face. He chuckled and pushed me to the back. We pulled up to a big house. I looked at it in awe. Shawn got out of the car and opened up the door for me. I ran out and ran up to the house.

" Well someone's excited." He said with a laugh. He opened the door and I ran into the house. It smelled just like Shawn. It was so comforting.

" Welcome to your new home Bella." He said and jumped on him. I tackled him to the floor and licked his face. He started laughing and trying to push me off of him. His laugh is so cute. I rolled over onto my back and he started petting my belly. We stayed like that for a bit and then he stopped.

" I am going to take a shower. Don't get into anything." He said and started heading upstairs. I whined and he turned around and laughed.

" I'll be back." He said and went upstairs. I heard the water turn on and I decided to walk around the house. I really need to stretch though. I turned back into my human form and it felt nice. I stretched and sighed in content.

" That feels so much better." I said and walked around the house. I walked over to where I smelt food. I opened this big box thing. When I opened it, there was food in it and it was cold. I looked through it and I found some meat that smelt really good. I grabbed it and ate it. I don't know what it was but it tasted really good. I walked around again and I got distracted by something in the house when I heard Shawn coming down the stairs. I turned back into my wolf form quickly just before Shawn came around the corner. That was very close.

" Hey Bella. Did you do some exploring?" He asked and I howled. He smiled at me and flopped down on the couch. He patted the couch and I jumped on top of it and laid down on his lap. He chuckled and pet my head. He turned on something on the wall. Moving pictures and sound started coming out of the box on the wall. I stared at it with curiosity. I don't know what it is but it's really cool. Shawn was watching something on the box when he yawned. I looked up at him and he was rubbing his eyes.

" I'm tired. I am getting going to bed." He said getting up. He started walking towards the stairs and I am not sure if I am allowed to follow him.

" You coming Bella?" He called out and I ran to his side. I walked up the stairs with him and walked into his room. He walked over to his bed and laid down. He took off his shirt and I stared at him. He looks so hot with no shirt on. I ran into the bed and cuddled into him. He chuckled and put his arm over me. We fell asleep like that.
