Alexis's POV

It's been a week since Shawn and I went to the zoo and IHOP. Since then, Shawn has brought me to the movies, to buy some clothes, and so many other things. I really enjoy the human world. I enjoy it even more that I have Shawn with me. Today Shawn said we're going to a place called a carnival. I don't know what it is, but he said it's really fun. I got dressed in jean shorts and a shirt with a wolf howling on it. I liked the shirt so Shawn bought it for me. I'm sad that the clothes don't smell like him but he said that I could where his clothes sometimes. I brushed my hair out like Shawn showed me. Shawn and I have gotten a lot closer over the past week. He'll hold my hand in public and kiss me on the cheek. I couldn't be more happy at the moment.

" Alexis, breakfast is ready." Shawn called from downstairs. I smiled and ran downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and smiled at Shawn.

" Good morning." I said kissing his cheek.

" Good morning beautiful." He said giving me a kiss on the cheek. I blushed and looked down. He chuckled and kissed my forehead.

" Let's eat." He said nodding towards the table. He made us pancakes. Since we've went to IHOP, pancakes have been one of my favourite things. Once we were finished, we left Shawn's house. We got into Shawn's car and started driving.

" What do you do at a carnival?" I asked looking over at Shawn.

" Do you remember when we were watching that movie the other night and they went on those things called rides?" He asked. I thought back to the other night.

" I remember. The one where the couple went on that thing that moves in circles and kissed when it stopped." I said and Shawn nodded with a blush.

" Yeah. It's called a Ferris wheel. We are going to what they went to." Shawn said and I got excited.

" It looks like so much fun." I said bouncing around in my seat. Shawn chuckled at me and shook his head. He stopped the car and got out. I got out too and looked around. It was so big and there were people everywhere. Shawn has helped me become more comfortable around so many humans. I grabbed Shawn's hand and pulled him towards everything. I went to run in but he pulled me back.

" We have to pay first silly." He said and I nodded.

" Sorry. I am still getting use to having to pay for things." I said and he smiled. He kissed my forehead and brought me over to a booth. He payed for us to go on the rides all day. They put a bracelet on my wrist and Shawn's.

" What is this for?" I asked Shawn.

" It's to show the people running the rides that you can go on them. Make sure you don't take it off." Shawn said and I nodded. We walked in and I looked around.

" What do you want to go on?" Shawn asked. I shrugged because I don't know what they do. I looked over to this house that was dark.

" Let's go on that." I said to Shawn.

" That's the haunted house. Are you sure?" He asked me. I nodded and he walked towards it. There wasn't a big line so we showed someone our bracelets and sat down in something. Shawn buckled me up and it started moving. We went in and it was very dark. Suddenly something popped out of the corner while screaming in my ear. I growled at it and went to attack it but Shawn pulled me back. Once we were out, Shawn pulled me out of the thing we were sitting in and brought me to the side of the ride.

" Your eyes are glowing. We're not in danger. I promise you. It was just a haunted house. It's meant to scare you." Shawn said. I looked around quickly to make sure there was no danger and then calmed down.
