Finding Love Again

Chapter 5

I woke up by the sound of my alarm. I groaned. I grabbed my phone and stopped the alarm. I saw I had a message from Peter.
'Your horse will come today, he caused some trouble on the road so I think it is wise you'll be there if he arrives. He'll arrive at 7 a.m.'

I smiled. Zorro would never change. I quickly got out of bed for I only had half an hour. I quickly grabbed the clothes I wore yesterday evening, for they were still clean and walked to the bathroom to brush my hair.
I grabbed some cereal and started to eat breakfast as fast as I could. I looked forward to see my horse.
Suddenly I heard a knock on my door.

'Come in.' I said.

It appeared to be Lee.

'Goodmorning' he said smiling 'your horse arrived already and he is making some trouble. They are trying to calm him down but it won't really worked.'

I grinned. 'I better get going then'
I walked as fast as possible to the car with a trailer behind it with Lee on my heels. I could hear the noise from here.
Just at that moment I saw Zorro storming out of it, pulling a caretaker with him. As soon as he saw me he started to run to me, the poor guy had to let go. He stopped just a few inches in front of me, but I didn't move, I wasn't afraid of him.
'Hi big boy, you just had to make it difficult for them hadn't you?' I said grinning.
And he shook his head as if he understood what I said. I stroke his beautiful head. 'It's good to see you again, my boy' and he pushed his nose against my hand, with a content look in his eyes.
'Let's get you in your stable, little rascal' I said to him.
I didn't need to hold him, he just walked after me. I noticed everyone was looking at me in amazement while I was putting Zorro in his stable. I quickly checked if he had everything and walked to Lee and the others. They were all looking at me.

'How did you do that? He was making trouble all the way, you show up and he calms down.' says the caretaker, he looks quite irritated

'I saved him from an abusive owner a long time ago, I am the only one he trusts' I anwer. 'It's nothing personal.'

I see Peter waving at Lee and me. We quickly walk towards him.

'I see you took care of your horse. Can you both go to get the make up done, then we will find your clothing. You will do that with Amy and Orlando.'

We both nod and I follow Lee, not knowing where to go. I don't need much make up, and they didn't do a lot with my hair, that is a little curly and has a color between blonde and brown, some would define it as golden hair. They make an elvenbraid and after that they start to put my elf-ears on. I smile as I look in the mirror, I always wanted to be an elf.
I wait for Lee while they are putting his wig. This is the first time I notice how handsome he actually is, then I notice he is staring at me through the mirror and I look away blushing.
What is this? Normally I never get uncomfortable when a man is staring at me, because I am always surounded by men.
Finally Lee is ready.
'I thought they always said girls are the slow ones.' I say teasingly.
He gives me a playful push against my shoulder and we both laugh.
When we arrive at the dressingroom Amy and Orlando are waiting already.
Orlando immediately stands up and introduces himself.
'Orlando Bloom, nice to meet you.' He says with a broad smile.

'Jeanine Evans, nice to meet you too Legolas' I say grinning.

We all get our clothes and change.
I like my outfit, it's a hunting dress with leather pants and some kind of corset. It's all in green, Mirkwood colours, so I guess I am an Mirkwood elf.
Amy has almost the same clothes, but she has a silver elvenband on her head, showing she is a princess.
Orlando just wears his Legolas' clothes we all already know.
And Lee comes out in a majestic robe, which made him really look like a king. It also matched great with his silver blonde hair.
Peter walks in.
'Amy, you will play Leriella, the daughter of Thranduil, you already know that. But you ran away from home and hide in Baggend, where you meet Bilbo and the company. You and Kili will get a romance.' Peter explains to Amy. She nods smiling.
But Lee doesn't look so happy about it.
'Does she have to kiss him and stuff?' He asks a bit angry.
'Yes, they will get a relationship.'

'I won't allow it.' Lee says angrily.

'Dad, it's just acting, I won't get anything with him in real life.' Amy says, while she looks at her dad pleading.
I see Lee still hesitates.

'Come on Lee, it is just acting, you should know that.' I say, hoping it will work, for I know how badly Amy wants to do this.

'Alright then, but only if you promise nothing will happen in real life.'

'Thanks daddy!' She exclaims while hugging him.
I smile, he is so overprotective.

'Jeanine, you will play Lavaneth, also a Mirkwood elf and once very close to Tauriel and the royal family. But you were falsely accused for murder and abbandoned. But there is another thing. Thranduil secretly has feelings for you, and you for him. You both don't realise it yet, but you will discover before the end.
You ask Thorin to join the company, and he allows you, for he has heard rumours about you being a very skilled warrior, and he can use that. That's how you join the company.'
I nod smiling.
'Alright now you guys will do a photoshoot. Follow me. '
We follow him to a greenscreen with a camera in front of it, Aidan is there also.
'Peter wants us on the photo together' Aidan says to Amy.
I see Lee frowns and I put a hand on his shoulder. 'It will be fine' I whisper.
He nods shortly but doesn't take his eyes of Amy and Aidan.
The photographer takes pictures of them. And suddenly they stand facing each other, almost kissing. Lee stands up angrily and Orlando stands up too.
'Stop!' They both yell.
'You will not kiss my daughter!' Lee exclaims.
They both quickly let go of each other.
'All elves now' the photographer demands. I walk towards the greenscreen.
'Jeanine, you will be standing a bit away from them.' The photographer points.
I take a little distance and put on an emotionless look.
'Yes perfect' the photographer says.

'Alright now I want Lee and Jeanine together' he says 'backs against each other, and stare into the camera acting like your character'

We turn our backs to each other and stare into the camera, I decide to try and look strong and independent , for my character has been through a lot.

After a while the photoshoot is done and we walk out for lunch, the others are there already, all in costume. I laugh at the sight.
