Chapter Seven: The Last Chapter.

And then the bullets flew at the people, hitting them both in the forehead.

Three hours ago:

"Are you sure you're ready?" Izzy asked, tightening the strap around her thigh. The brown haired girl nodded, cocking her gun and pointing at a wall to practice her aim.

"Let's go. You know the plan, right. We go in, shoot Jayden, then leave. If one of us gets left behind, we stay behind. One of us dies, we stay down," Des said, stuffing her gun in the back of her pants. This would probably be the last time she ever needed one, and she was happy to know that.

"Let's do it," Izzy said, giving a small smile. Izzy still thought this was pointless. They should just leave Jayden alone, let him be a terror to everyone here. It wasn't all Des' job to take him down. Already too many people were dead because of her.

"What are you thinking about?" Des asked Izzy, who was staring at Des.

"Oh, uh, nothing. Just happy we'll be ending it," Izzy sputtered out, shaking her head. Des shruged and headed over to the door as Izzy carefuly followed. Des was out of her mind. She always was, but three attacks in one month? She really didn't know when to stop and leave it alone. Call the police, they'll take care of this. We'll just end up going to jail. We already have hundreds of deaths on out hands.

As the two girls arrived at the house, Des, walked around the corner, only to be found by someone.

"Hey you-" Des grabbed him and ran with him back over to Izzy whom was hiding.

"Where is Jayden?!" she whisper yelled, grabbing the man by his shirt.

"He's isn't here," the man said snob-like.

"Well then where the hell is he?" Des whisper yelled again, shaking the man.

"Somewhere only we know." Izzy sighed, closing her eyes. She didn't want to see what Des would do to the man.

"Destiny, please take your man somewhere else and get the answers," Izzy whispered, turning her head.

Des grumbled and dragged the man farther away. A few wimpers were heard, but Izzy was glad she wasn't a witness.

"He's five miles away from here at some safe house. If we run, we'll get there within the next hour or two," Des said, walking back over to Izzy. Izzy nodded and started running with Des.

The girls panted as they reached the house the man had told them about.

"Let's go in," Des said, starting to walk to the door.

"Des," Izzy started, grabbing her hand. Des spun to look at Izzy, angry at her for stopping her.

"What?" she asked, her jaw clencing.

"What if it's a trap?" Izzy asked, looking around Des to the house.

"Then we'll spring it," Des said, pulling away from her.

Izzy felt anger and annoyance rise up to her throat, but calmed herself as she followed in.

"I'll take the upstairs, you take the lower stairs," Des whispered, pointig to the directions. Izzy was about to say something, but decided not to and just let her do what she wants. She started sneaking around downstairs while Des crept up the steps.

"Jayden, I know you're here," Des called out. She could feel her unstable mind coming back. She was going to lose it. She was going to go insane, and if she didn't kill herself with this, then she'd go into some kind of mental hospital. She was fine until this started up.

"You're good," Jayden whispered, stepping out of the shadow. Des jumped into attack mode as she swung to face him.

"About time you showed yourself, coward," Des spat, starting to circle. Jayden followed her lead, pointing the gun at her.

"I was just about to say the same thing," Jayden spoke, a smirk creeping on his face.

"Let's end this now. I'm tired of living. Tired of doing this!" Des snapped. Her breaking point was around the corner.

"Then why did you get into it?" Jayden asked, anger showing up on his face.

"Because my damn father forced me. You think I wanted to do this?" Des snapped, slamming her foot on the ground.

"You should have killed him!"

"I tried! But Allen got to him fist!"

Jayden stopped, staring at Des.

"I hate you for killing him," Jayden whispered.

"And I hate you for killing Salisha. We're even."

"I don't play to get even. I play to get ahead!" Jayden shouted, running at Des. Des put her hands up in defense as Jayden punched. A fist fight went on for a little, no one really winning. Finally, they pulled back, guns aimed at each other, out of breath and bloody.

"This ends now," Des said, turning off her saftey.

"At least we agree on something."

And then the bullets flew at the people, hitting them both in the forehead.
