"I've gotten everything ready, we just need a date to make our plan work.” Salisha looked up from her plate, “How about next week? Jayden isn't doing anything,” she said. Salisha picked up her glass of milk and started drinking it. “How would you know? You've been here all week!” Salisha wiped her mouth from the milk mustache on her top lip. “He never does anything. It's the death of some kid he knows.” I turned around. “When has he said that?” I asked, bringing the plate of eggs to the table. “Oh, for the love of God, Des. Just trust me.” I let out a sigh and leaned on the table. “All right, that sounds good.”

1 week later: day of attack:

“Are we good to go?” I asked Izzy as she strapped on her knife holder. Salisha loaded another gun out of the dozens she already had. “Do you need all of those?” I asked her. Salisha looked up, “I'm going trigger happy.” Izzy and I looked at each other. “Just aim for them, not us.” Salisha giggled. “I may go trigger happy, but I know how to aim.” I shrugged. “As long as you don't hit us, do what you want.” I loaded my last gun and stuffed it in the back of my pants. “Izzy, you're taking care of the gang members with Sal while I go and kill Jayden. Don't hesitate to kill the gang members, but watch who you're killing. We don't need any other unnecessary deaths on our hands.” Salisha and Izzy nodded. “Let's move.”

I signaled Salisha and Izzy the opposite way of the house while I scaled the wall. It was a little difficult, but an old satellite stand was next to the house, so I could use that for help. When I reached the top of the wall, I opened the window. I'd been in this house before, so I knew the locks never worked. If they ever did, they were weak and easy to open. I climbed into the attic where beds, guns, bullets, gang signs laid around. This was definitely their hide-out.

As I made my way around the attic and over to the door, I heard some shouts from downstairs and a few silenced guns. Sal and Izzy had started killing off the other gang members. All I had to do was kill Jayden and escape with both of them alive. I pulled a chair over in a corner. Salisha said that when Jayden knew he was in trouble, he escaped to the attic where only he had the key. I'm surprised, and a little worried as to why the windows were so open. I mean, if he only had a key, wouldn't he want this place to be secretive and locked off? So why were the windows- click. Damn it. I knew something was wrong. “Alice, Lucy, whatever the hell your name is. Why are you here?” I turned around to look at Jayden, his gun pointed at my head. “Well, funny story really,” I started, backing away from him. He just followed me. “I'll be the judge of that.” Jayden shook his gun, motioning for me to continue. “I came here to stop you from making this town go through hell again.” Jayden cocked an eyebrow, “Stop as in?” “Kill. Stop as in kill,” I finished for him. Jayden nodded. “Right, because you can't stand seeing another gang rule over these lands like the big war you were involved in,” he said, still walking towards me while I was moving back. “The war you, your old man, hundreds of people were involved in. The war my brother was killed in.” I swallowed as I hit the wall. “I'm sorry for your loss.” Jayden let out a laugh, “Why? He was a brat that hated that war. He worked with someone to try an stop it! But guess what. He got shot from it. It's what he deserved.” My heart stopped a little and my body tensed up. No, a bunch of people wanted that war over and were killed. It wasn't just Allen who tried to stop it. “I mean, he was the gang leader's son. He should've been all for it!” I felt like my eyes had fallen out of my head. “Who was your brother?” I asked, my voice shaky as hell. “Allen Matthews. You know of him?” My breathing became a little bit harder. “A-Allen was your brother?” I asked, voice still shaky. “Well, half brother to be precise. His dad got my mum pregnant, and they had me! I didn't know Allen that well, but he still was family. But you do know him. Ever figured out who killed him?” I started sliding away from him, but he just followed. “I-I got A-Allen killed.” Jayden stopped “You what? You little-” I used his shocked expression as my way out. I ran past him and jumped out the window. “IZZY! SALISHA!” I screamed out, running past the house. Shortly after, Izzy was running out, Salisha over her shoulder. “What happened!?” I asked, running to Izzy's apartment. “She was shot, I'll tell you about it when we get there!” she yelled back. “Shot!? WHAT!?” Izzy shook her head, “You kill him?” she asked, running up next to me. “No, he took me by surprise.” Surprise is right. Even if he didn't know it, that war killed the same person who was close to us.

Sorry it's a but short, maybe a bit rushed, but I was really excited. Today, when I got on, I saw one comment (very rare for me) and I was number 571 on the What's Hot List! So, I took my time to write this out for you guys. Sorry if you hate it, but I'm really happy. This is my second story that has been on the What's Hot List!
