The music stopped as Applejack stood beside Rainbow, their hands linking immediately.
"Ahem...We are gathered here today, for the marriage of Applejack Apple Smith, and Rainbow Danger Dash." Rainbow's father, Lightning Blaze, wiped a tear from his cheek. "Rainbow Danger Dash, do you here by take Applejack as your lawfully wedded wife? Through sickness and through health, through the richer and the poorer, till death do you part?"
Rainbow looked into her lover's eyes, smiling. "I do."
"Now, Applejack Apple Smith, do you here by take Rainbow Dash as your lawfully wedded wife? Through sickness and through health, through the richer and the poorer, till death do you part?"
Another tear dripped from Applejack's eyes. "Ah do."
"Then, with the power invested in me, I now pronounce you wife and woman."
The two girls leaned in closer, their eyes both closing as their lips touched gently. The crowd erupted into applause.
It was perfect.
