Rainbow was on the couch, crying her eyes out. Applejack had yelled at her after Rainbow had called out apon how AJ's parents were dead and continued to do so. So, to punish herself, she slept on the couch that night.

Applejack shivered. She wasn't used to sleeping alone. Rainbows warmth was usually there. She hugged herself, sniffling. She looked at her wrists. The cuts weren't as bad as the cuts in her heart.

Rainbow sighed. She sat up on the couch, looking around. She turned on the TV.

'Is your relationship failing?'

Rainbow switched the channel.

'...my parents died a while ag-'

Rainbow turned off the TV, slamming the remote. "Even the TV is after me!!" She sighed deeply.

Applejack heard a slam, getting up and walking to the bathroom. She grabbed her sewing kit, starting to sew up her wrist. She clenched her eyes shut.

Rainbow walked up the stairs, seeing Applejack just standing in the bathroom. "AJ? Are you okay?" She placed a hand on her girlfriends shoulder. She gasped as soon as she saw the needle and thread.

Applejack sighed, glancing briefly at the teen before setting down the sewing kit and needle. She turned to face her. "Ah...Rainbow..." She looked down.

Rainbow put a hand on AJ's shoulder. "Applejack. You can stitch up the cuts on your hand, but you can't stitch up my heart." She hugged the taller girl, resting her head on her chest.

"You just can't, AJ..."
