Searching Forever Part 2

Rainbow slumped, watching her ex-lover stare at her. Applejack held herself, like she was scared of Dash. The spectrum haired girl felt a pang of sadness wash over herself as she began to cry. She ran up the stairs and ran into the guest room that Mac had led her to. She soon heard a few soft and gentle knocks on her door. She knew who was knocking, AJ. Applejack always knocked soft and easy.

The blonde came into the room and sat gently on the edge of the bed next to Dash. "Hey, ah don't really know how you know me, or if ah even know you at all, but I'm sure ah have strong feelings for ya. I don't know if they're bad or good yet, but they're real strong." She smiled lightly. "Ah feel as if I once knew you..."

"You did, AJ!" Rainbow sat up, wiping her tears and sniffling. "We were best friends for the longest time...we would compete, race, test each other, and all that good stuff." The teen took a second to sniffle. "Then, we were walking together in your orchard, and I asked you out. You said yes, and we kissed. It was the most wonderful moment of my life." Rainbow sniffled again, a warm smile growing on her face slowly. "After two years, I wanted to propose. But then...You moved away.....To here. And you forgot...about our friends, your old life, me. Our life that we could have had together..."

Applejack looked down at the sheets. "You seem like you know all this by heart..." She looked up. "Ah know your not lyin'. But, I just can't remember..."

Dash's eyes weld up, her smile turning into a frown as she began to cry, following by a choke of air. Her face fell into the pillow.

AJ patted Rainbow's back as she cried, looking down at her sympathetically. She soon got up and walked to the door. "When yer ready, dinner will be waitin' for ya, sugarcube." With that, she slipped out of the door and down stairs.

Rainbow sighed, she got up and looked at herself in the mirror. Her nose was red, her cheeks flushed, and her eyes all puffy around the edges. She looked to the side, grabbing her bag and throwing it over her shoulder.

"After this, I'm leaving..."

Applejack grabbed a scrapbook out of the basement, blowing all the dust off of it, looking at the title on the cover.

'Our Life'

AJ cocked her head, lifting the cover. Inside was a picture of the same hand of Rainbow Dash's, holding Applejack's hand. She glanced at this and quirked an eyebrow. She turned the next page.

'First date'

On this page, it showed Applejack in a red dress, it was flowing and it had long sleeves. She wore a red Stenson as well. Next to her was Rainbow, her spectrum hair done up in a bun with a tuxedo on. The tie had Zap Apples on it. The girls seemed to be happy, not only were they next to each other, but they were hugging. Not only hugging, also kissing. The two were kissing, and they seemed in pure bliss.
