Notes: Includes information from the second season of The Legend of Korra. Also, inaccurate line up of plots but its fanfiction anyway so it should be understandable. Enjoy!

"Just as everything else?"

"Just as everything else."

Natsuko breathed in deeply before looking back at Aang again. It was a few hours until the great comet arrives and she had blacked out from too much pain that passed through her continuously.

She stayed still once more, "There's something else we need to discuss. For when the war is over."

Aang smiled, "Hit me! I can take it as long as there's time."

Natsuko smiled at the boy's naivety and shook her head before her brows furrowed, making the boy mimic her eyes expressions, "When this is over, I'll be gone and back to the Spirit World for good."

"What?" his smiled dropped at this point.

"I wasn't meant to be here, Aang." she just smiled even when it was twitching on the sides as her brows furrowed more, "If you haven't gone missing, I wouldn't be looking for you anywhere and mastering all four elements. When you win the war, I mastered all elements, and I'll come back."

"So promise me, Aang. We cannot see each other until I see everyone for the last time. When I'm ready, I'll come to you."

Aang nodded and tried to hug her when she disappeared for him, waking them both in the process.

18 years ever since Avatar Korra was born. 18 ever since Aang had died. 72 ever since the hundred year war came to a halt. And 72 ever since Natsuko was last seen in the material world.

There are so many that had attempted to enter the Spirit World and so many had failed at the attempt to do so, even Tenzin who was the youngest of the three Aang spawns as they call it. Tenzin was also an airbender as his father was, and so were his 3 children, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo, with Rohan; his fourth; was marked TBD.

As the only person who was a trained master of the arts of airbending, taught by the Avatar himself, Tenzin had agreed to teach the next Avatar after his father's death.

The next Avatar was from the Water Tribes; the Southern of the two, to be exact; a waterbender named Korra who had realized her powers to bend all four elements at the age of 4, making her the youngest to in the time span of 3,000 years approximately.

And even though her powers manifested as early in her toddler years, it was a long way since she had mastered airbending. At the age of 17, she had finally unlocked her ability the bend air after her other abilities were taken away by a bloodbender of another book.

But that's not this book had tackled on.

Korra had just recently been told to have been taken care of after a mishap on sea, killed by a ploy of her own uncle who had desired for the spirit portals to open to their own world. Of course, just as her predecessor, she wasn't at all willing to let go of life, much less die unannounced.

She also has her own version of Team Avatar, Bolin and Mako who she met through bending battles and those kinds of things and Asami who she met through Mako. Of course there was also Pabu and Naga, the red panda and a polar bear dog, respectively.

After meeting the first Avatar to exist, she had learned of how he earned the title, but it wasn't much of what people might expect. The Avatar could be suspected part spirit but when they had realized of the bond of another girl who had bonded with Raava, the spirit of light, it was safe to say things were not as expected.
