It's been a month since I've stepped foot on the condo. Which means it has been a whole month since I last saw my Life.

Of course I miss her, whose mother wouldn't miss her daughter?

But for the past month, Mint and I have been inseperable. One is because they suppose  to believe that we are effing in love with each other. And the best part? Free informations! This guy is very fucking stupid he just tells me everything.

And since it's not possible for us to be together 24/7, I make it a point to do my things everytime the stupid guy's not around. Meaning, fixing papers and stuffs.

We also have decided to make this wedding as secret as possible. I told them for the reason that the investors in our company might pull out if they knew their only 'daughter' is getting married. Because that's what happened with Clark marrying that Laura. Apparently, the investors wanted the Paredes' siblings for themselves. Totally gross.

So it will be between me, Mint, Clark, Laura, Clark Sr., Dina, Mint's father, and Chin whose been much more excited than I am. She should marry Mint. Dammit.

Tomorrow, is the wedding day.

I was on my way to the Paredes' mansion because Clark told me that Laura told him that my wedding dress has arrived. Nothing pompous, just a simple white dress that doesn't even look a wedding dress.

I was driving when I heard my phone ringing. So I grabbed my earpiece and press the answer button on the phone.

"Yeah?" I asnwered without even knowing who the hell was that.

(Hey babe, where are you? I've been texting you.) he said.

Wow. Acting like a real fiancee. Yuck.

"Oh, I'm on my way to pick up my dress. Why?"

(Wala naman. I thought we'll pick it up together?) he asked.

"No need. I can do it myself, and besides I have to talk to Laura." I said.

(Talk to her? Why?)

"To do you a favor. Just let me do this, your my friend. And all I want is for you to be happy." Yuck. Friend? Happy? Hell no. Nobody's my friend and all I care is my happiness!

(You're really going to do that? What if she doesn't want to be with me again?)

Stupid.

"I promised you that right? And it's not lady-like not to keep promises. I'm Diamond, Mister. I get what I want. And I want you and Laura to get back together. So stop asking questions, okay bye."

I hung up.

This guy's a real pain in the ass.

I arrived at the Paredes' mansion but Laura is the only Paredes home.

Damn. Sharing the same surname with her jus gives me something to be ashamed of.

"Hey!" greeted me. Pwe. And then I sat on beside her on the couch.

"Move away!" she said without looking at me.

She's busy reading every papers on the table.

"What's that?" I asked pointing on those papers.

"None of your business." she said still not looking at me.

"You don't have to be so rude. We're sisters-in-law." YUCK! Totally yuck!

"I don't care. Just go away!" she shouted.

I ignored her, instead I grabbed one of those papers she's reading.

"Hey!" she shouted.

Shout much, bitch?

I read through the paper and found out that they need investors. Soon.

I put the paper back and told her, "I can invest in your company." I said.

Perfect idea. Investing in their company means investing in her.

"I don't want your investment. And besides, your brother just invested half of your company to ours, so I don't need your petty investment." she said.

Petty? We'll see about that.

"But you NEED my investment. You may not WANT it, but let's be true, you badly need it. You just need to ask sister-in-law." I teased.

"Shut up. I won't ask any help from you, as long as my name is Laura and yours is Diamond, we won't be connected. Ever." she said.

"Pity. I was just thinking of investing the other half of the Paredes' company on your company since that half is named after me. But you just said you don't want my help. Still, I'm always available to talk to."

"Just go away! What are you doing here ba!?"

I just shrugged and said, "to pick up my WEDDING dress."

"Do you really have to rub it in that you are getting married with my EX-boyfriend?" she said, almost too pissed.

"I'm not rubbing it in Laura, I'm just happy." I said.

"Well stop being happy in front of me! Know what, just get your effin' dress and get out of here. Before I think of a plan to ruin your wedding." she said.

"Oh, haven't you already? I thought you already planned something to ruin my wedding." I said sarcastically.

"I am planning something actually. Since you ruined mine as far as I remembered." she said.

Oh. Yeah. Right. That.

"I didn't really planned that to happen. I'm just someone from the past who doesn't want to miss the wedding of the century." I said.

"Bitch. Just go away!" she said.

"Let me tell you something before I leave. Here's the thing, I know you still love my fiancee, and for all I care, he still does too. So I know you've got all the reasons to ruin my wedding, better yet, to runaway with my groom. And if that happens, I'll promise you one thing, I won't let anyone get in your way. I won't even be angry." I said.

"What!?" her eyes widened. "Then why are you marrying him? Are you just playing him around like Gino?" she said.

I almost choked except I don't have anything to choke to start off.

I put my thoughts together before I thought of strangling this girl.

"Playing isn't really my thing, Laura. You see, I will be completely honest with you. I was helping him to win you back. You know all he talks about is you, your eyes, your lips, your hair, your everything. and I thought, I can help him." I said.

"Are you kidding me? What about your brother? I'm married." she said still can't believe what I said.

"What they don't know won't hurt them. I just told you, I won't let anyone get in your way. Even if I have to
