X, Y & Z

Chapter 2

I rolled around in bed and groaned knowing I wouldnt be able to fal back asleep. Sighingat this unfortunate discovery I left the comfort of my bed and moved into my bathroom, where I took a steaming hot shower. 

I stepped out feeling refreshed and heard my phone ringing endlessly. I sighed knowing exactly who it would be. "Hello?"

"Hey baby, why dont you come over for a while, I'm getting a little lonely by myself." I rolled my eyes and just hung up the phone. I hated how Frank did not understand that I wanted nothing to do with him. He was a douche, scumbag, any bad name you could think of and Im ashamed that I actually associated myself with him before.

I threw on another sports bra and a pair of matching orange and black nike shorts. I walked into my kitchen and was shocked to meet a pair of golden eyes again. "Crap, you scared me!" I saw X chuckle slightly, but he stood up from leaning on the counter and apologized. 

"Sorry Z, I just got a little lonely in the guest house." 

"It's cool, so what do you want to do today?" I tried not to check out my sister's fiancee, but it was hard.  He was wearing an Underarmour shirt that had the sleeve holes ripped all the way down his sides so I saw all his ripped muscles.

My god, Ava was one lucky girl. 

"Who was that on the phone?" I snapped my head up to X, I didnt realize he had heard.

"Oh it's no-" 

DING DONG! 

I wasnt expecting anybody so I quickly made my way to the door and came face to face with Frank. "You think it's okay to just hang up in my face?" He grabbed my wrist hard and yanked me close to him. I squeaked in pain and tried to yank away, but he just pulled harder. 

"Frank, let go!" He growled in my ear and tried to pull me outside. 

"No, you're coming with me." 

"Hey, what's going on?" I turned and saw a murderous expression on Xavier's face. 

"So I leave and you go f*ck other men?" Frank squeezed so had I heard a crack and knew my wrist was broken.

"It''s not like that, please let go." I felt the tell tale burn behind my eyes of tears. 

"Come on, man. Let her go, obviously she's in pain." X started alking forwards and Frank pulled me farther away. "Look, I asked nicely, just let her go." Frank squeezed my broken wrist ad I screamed in pain. Frank gave a sick smile as if to prove his point and that was all X needed. 

He walked right up to frank and punched him in the face. I heard the crunch of Frank's nose, but X didnt stop there. He kicked Frank in the gut and kept kicking until I pulled him bak with my good hand. He seemed to remeber that I was still there and hurt because he spit on Frank before turning his attention back to me. 

"Z, we got to get you to the hospital." I ignored his comment and walked into his arms and cried. Frank had never been abusive and seeing this side of him scared me so much. X wrapped his strong arms around me and whispered calming words into my ear while I bawled my eyes out. 

"H-he never t-touched me b-before." I said in between sobs, which caused X to just squeeze tighter. 

"You still have to get to the hospital." I didnt move so X just pickd me up and cradled me into his chest. "Come on baby, stop crying for me." 

I tried to stop I really did, so I silently sobbed until I fell asleep in the passenger side of the car while Xavier shot me worried glances. 

I wanted to feel guilty for crying in my sister's fiancee's arms. I wanted to feel guilty for finding comfort in his warm arms. 

I wanted to, but I just didnt.

A little drama in the beginning! I just wanted to introduce Frank to you guys and show Xavier's protective side. :P
