Chapter 25

I was pissed, no I was that. I was livid. My anger at Ava was boiling over and I had no way to let it out in a way that wouldn't hurt my babies, cause if I saw Ava right now there was going to be a fight.

"Hey Avs, can you meet me at y house tomorrow?"

"Sure sis! Love you."

"Mhm." I hung up and crawled into my bed with my new fiancee. He wrapped his arms around my big belly and kissed my forehead.

"Try not to hurt her." I turned to face X, wanting him to explain himself. "If you hurt her, you'll regret it and if she hits you back I'll be forced to do something and I'd rather not be in jail for hitting my ex."

I smiled and cuddled in closer to him. Any though of Ava getting hurt was a great thought in my head at this point. I wanted to think of something else other than my conniving sister.

"What are we going to name our little girl?" I asked X. He smiled down at my huge belly and started rubbing it.

"What about Samantha?" I shook my head. I wasn't feeling that. "Demi?" I shook my head again. "Ayanna?" I thought for a second.

"Ayanna Janae. What do you think?" He nodded.

"Has a nice ring to it. Ayanna Janae." He said repeating it slowly to himself. "My little Yanni."

"It's funny actually. We are going to be the X, Y & Z family." X laughed.

"Xavier, Yanni, and Zoe. Wow." We got quiet and just cherished the silence that we had. In another 2 months, silence was going to be a thing of the past.

"I love you." I randomly said.

"I love you too, baby."

"Hey sis, what's up?" Ava smiled at me, but I saw it falter when she saw the ring on my finger.

"Oh, isn't it beautiful?" I said sticking my hand close to her face.

"Yeah, just gorgeous."

"Much better than yours was." I hit a sore spot.

"Excuse me?"

"You're excused." Ava stood up abruptly.

"What the hell is wrong with you? That was so mean and uncalled for!"

"Mean? Uncalled for? No, I disagree because I lose all respect for people who try to destroy relationships out of jealousy." She paled. "Yeah, Frank did one good thing out of his miserable existence."

"That liar." She muttered, which just gave me concrete evidence that Frank was telling the truth.

"You're my sister, Ava. Why?" She scoffed loudly.

"Oh don't play the innocent card. You're my sister yet you went and f*cked my fiancée and he left me for you! Sisters don't do that to each other! You're supposed to be happy for me! In a couple months I was supposed to be walking down an aisle to Xavier, but instead it's you."

"You know, I am wrong there. I should've never gotten close with Xavier and fallen in love because he wasn't mine to love, but guess what? He made a choice, and he chose me." By now I was standing so close my nose was touching hers.

"I hate you." Those words cut deep, but I tried not to let it show.

"No matter what you say and how you feel, I love you and I'm sorry. If you ever want to talk to me, I'll be here." Ava turned and walked out of my house and i collapsed back down on the couch.

Arguing with my sister was so draining. I keep forgetting her perspective. She left the country and trusted me to let X stay here, what do I do? Fall in love and break them up.

It was wrong, so very wrong, but does that justify anything she's done?

Not at all.

I curl up in a ball and close my eyes to sleep because god knows I need it, when my phone rings.

"Hello?" I answer tiredly.

"Yes, Ms. Anderson I'm sorry to bother you, but you're the only emergency contact I have for Mr. Frank Reeds."

"Yes, what's wrong?" Frank has caused me so many problems, but I still cared about his well being.

"He overdosed on cocaine and we need permission to go into surgery. His organs are shutting down quickly." I jumped up.

"Yes, yes whatever you need to do! I'll be there as soon as I can!" I hung up and quickly grabbed my purse.

"Don't die on me Frank. Please don't die on me."

Bam! The real confrontation has been made! Ava is done with Zoe! Is it permanent? Not permanent?

Ayanna Janae. Likey? No likey?

Anyways Frank'a drug addiction has caught up with him? Does he live or die? Only time will tell.
