Little Misunderstood

Chapter 7

*Hailey's POV*

I wake up the next morning after mine and Ashtons.....kiss.... *purrs/growls* its nice to remember. Today I'm gonna talk to him about the woods. I know he knows I know now. So....it souldnt be too dificult to talk to him about it. WAIT! Ah oh my gosh what if he asks why i was crying!?!? WAIT! OH MY GOSH I FORGOT ABOUT HEROLD! Well whatever...ill just track him down later, hes probably not even looking for me, he probably gave up on me like the other foster parents did before I was adopted formally by him and the bitch.

I start to get out of the bed and then I relize..." I'M NOT WEARING PANTS!!" Oh. My. Goddess. No. No, just no. I wasnt wearung pants last night... "DAMM YOU STUPID SLEEPING HABIT!!" I start to search for my pants, jumping on the bed to look underneath the sheets. I wiggle under the sheets but they get caught on my back, not caring I continue to try and go farther under to find them. I almost get to the end of the bed when I hear the door handle start to move. I immediately curl up under the blanket and act like I'm still asleep, even if I'm facing the wrong way, hey that also one of my bad habbits... Damn habbits...

I hear foot steps come closer to the bed and a soft, quiet laugh."You're just to cute." He chuckles again. Ashton.... I relax more underneath the sheets knowing its just him. I then feel the bed dip from the weight of him sitting down. I feel him lean over and start to pull the covers away and I just squeeze up into a ball trying to make my shirt cover my butt. He doesnt seem to notice though...

*Ashton's POV*

I walk into my room to find Hailey curled up in a ball under the covers. I queitly chuckle and say, "You're just to cute." Laughing again I go to pull back the covers.

When I finally pull them away I find Hailey curled up into a tight ball. Curious as to why I go to poke her cheak. Something seems to switch in her as I reach twords her face.

Hailey all of a sudden freaks out and jumps up grabbing her pants, and huridly putting them on. Racing out the door she yells "Shit I have to find Herold!!" I race after her and grab her wrist, something seemed different in her eyes though. She yanks back her wrist and just looks at me with eyes full of hurt and sadness. "Sorry, but you need to forget you ever met me." Her face now cold, she is gone within a blink of an eye. Looking around confuzed I try to see what direction she took off in. Crap she doesnt know her way back.... no she'll be fine she can just smeel him out probably. And I don't know if I can do that Hailey.... but I'll try for you.... I wonder why I have to just forget her.... I'm glad it will atleast be easier since she hid her presence from everyone else, even her scent was very well hidden.....

Trying to do as she said I just go down stairs to get some breakfast, having my normal expresion on I just walk into the kitchen and grab a plate of pancakes and bacon. Taking the plate of food back to my room I then go and sit down at my desk and start to eat.

I hope this doesnt prove to be too hard, her expression was serious and gaurded maybe even cold. But she probably has a good reason... so I'll forget about ever meeting her...

*Hailey's POV*

Running out of his gigantic house I head strait to the trees my body seeming to know exactally where to go. I continue to just run and run until I come to stop at the edge of the (what I found out to be) gigantic forest, I don't even stop to take a breath I just scan over what looks to be a motel(a very nice one at that) and see what I was looking for... Herold.

Running up to the stairwell, I run as fast as I can up the stairs for two flightls. Coming to a stop at the 3rd floor. "Dad?" Is all I say as he almost rounds the corner. Slowly I see him turn around, eyes wide and puffy (he's been crying...). "H-Hailey!?" I just nod and he comes rushing over enveloping me in a giganctic bear hug. "Where have you been????"

"I've just been in the woods, I'm so sorry for running off on you like I did Dad..."

"No Hailey don't be, I should have never yelled at you like that."
