Little Misunderstood

Chapter 4

*Hailey's POV*

I can't believe I am actually in Kohls right now. I have heard so much about it back home and even saw it, but we never had the money to go shopping there. I'm completely confused though, how Dad had gotten the money for it but I saw that he had a big envolope that I assumed holds some money inside.

I was just to tempted to ask now, "Dad how did you get the money for us to be in here?" there was a slight hesitation in his answer.

"A new friend from the last role both gave them to me." he had a far away look as he told me where it came from.

A face biting at the edge of my memory, "What new friend? what did he look like?" he looked hurt when I said the word 'he' "I'm sorry for maybe hurting your feelings. It was a she wasn't it?"

"Yes. A very beautiful she, with longish hair reaching her mid back, pulled up into a high-ponytail, her eyes the colo--"I had to stop him.

"OK DAD! You don't have to go all soft and girly on me. And swoon over, over, over....what's her name?"

OK now I think I went a little over board with calling her that. "Her Name Is NOEL! OK! N-O-E-L! NOEL!" What the hell has gotten in to him!!!!

"I'M SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HER NAME WAS!!!!" I yelled before I turned around and sprinted out of the store, across the street, through a couple neighborhood's, and into the woods.

I sat down under a pine tree after what felt like running FOREVER and broke down in to sobs.

Herold's POV

"I'M SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HER NAME WAS!!!!" she yelled before she turned around and sprinted out of KOHL'S.

"HAILEY!! IM SORRY! COME BACK! I DIDN'T.... Mean...it...." urgh...what am I saying...yes I meant what I said but I didn't mean for her to have reacted that way. GOD DAMMIT!! I SUCH AN STUPID IDIOT!!!!

°Tallon: Yes your stupid!! You idiot! Go after her Goddess knows how for she's gotten!! she could be in another city for all we know! now get in the fucking car before I do it myself!!

Herold: God Dammit Tallon! You don't have to be such a dick ya know!!

Tallon: Just get in the damn car and go after Hailey! She could be in trouble! What if someone else finds her before we do?! What if 'you know who' finds her before we do!? GO NOW!!!

Herold: Okay, okay! I'm going.And no what if's Tallon, we will find her!°

I run out side to the car and start the ignition. Shit! I forgot about the other car we brought with us. I glad we parked facing out ward and also took up the spot behind us. I'm coming for you Hailey, don't worry.

Hailey's POV

*SNAP!*

What the hell was that! "WH-WHO-WHO'S THERE!?!" I said as I shot up to my feet from where I was sitting under the tree.

A growl erupted from a few trees away, I jumped up to grab a branch and started climbing as fast as I could.

"WHO'S TH-THERE!?!" I ask/yelled again while still climbing.

*SNAP!*

*snap*

*SNAP!*

I started to climb even faster skipping at least two branches at a time. I feel like I'm at a safe distance from the ground now and decide to stop and glance down at the ground. I try to see if I can see what it is but I can't. "WHO'S THERE!! I SAID WHO'S THERE!!! I COMMAND U TOO ANSWER ME NOW!!!" Another growl erupted but this time instead of climbing even higher, I lean forward using a branch to steady my balance. I go to lean a little more forward but when I start to put more weight on the branch I start to see something. But then all of a sudden I slip and the branch brakes.

*SNAP!*

Oh. Shit. "SHIT!" As I start to tumble down my mind drifts back to the memories of first going to Kohl's with Herold, then to Herold and then to our little fight. I realize that we had left things at bad terms and I was probably gonna die or something now if I didn't stop this.

I started to flail and reach out to grab branches to stop me from falling, and then I get pulled back to reality buy the harsh, thick branches hitting me on my way down as I fall. I catch a branch but it breaks and I am about ten feet above the ground when I hear another growl and few more harsh snaps and then....THUD. I am overwhelmed by darkness but before the light completely slips I catch a figure of something running twords me at first it was a blur then it was a boy. and then darkness.
