Patrick's Pov
I shook my head, "Your joking, There is no way that tiny circle is a baby... I'm mean it's impossible!?"
"Mr. Stump I know it doesn't look like much, but it is. Usually at this point it's impossible to find anything in an ultrasound through... Right now it's nothing but a small sac of cells, and it can't even be called a fetus yet."
"So that's why he's been feeling so sick?... I don't understand I mean he's a guy?" Pete says.
"Yea, and he still is. but it seems that Patrick was born with both reproductive parts. It's rare in this case-"
"It's rare?! So what you have had cases like this before!?"
"Please try to calm down Mr. Stump. No I have never had a case like this, but I have heard of a few cases here in the U.S. and couple around the world."
"And what happened in their cases?"
"Well some have had their kid and been living a good life. Others well... lost their life's."
"Lost their life's?!... see now your scaring me Doctor."
"I am aware, but I have to be honest if you decided to keep it."
"Well what if I don't... I don't want to keep it."
"What?!"
"Pete, there is no way I'm having a baby."
"I'm sorry, but last time I heard to make a baby you need two."
"You can't be serious on keeping this baby!?"
"... I'll be right back" the Doctor says walking out of the room.
"I am, that's my kid too and I also get to decide what happens to it."
"Be reasonable Pete, did you not just hear what Doctor Jacob said... Do you want me to die?!"
"You know I don't and you don't even know that for sure, but I don't want to get rid of our child."
"There is no 'our', I have Elisa and a wedding-"
"Can you stop thinking for one second of your stupid wedding with Elisa. This doesn't involve her!"
"Yes it does just like it involves Meagan. We agreed this was a mistake and it will be more of a mistake if we decided to keep it."
"I lied!"
"Lie? About what?"
"About agreeing it was a mistake, because for me it wasn't. Fuck Patrick, I practically loved you since the moment I met you. The day we had sex you were drunk and you came on to me and I knew you were vulnerable, but I wanted you. Just for one moment I wanted to think you were mine."
"Why didn't you tell me that!"
"Because I was scared to lose you as a friend."
"Well, things are already bad... You had sex with me, knowing I was drunk and I wouldn't remember a thing and you didn't even wear protection."
"How was I suppose to know you could get pregnant!?"
I sighed, "I don't know what I want to do anymore!?"
"Patrick, look at that screen our baby is right there and yeah it doesn't look like much but soon it will start to form..."
"Pete, I just don't know what about-"
"Forget about Elisa and Meagan right now, this is just about you and me."
"I'm just so scared..."
"Don't be, I'm going to be right here and I don't plan on going anywhere."
He held out his hand and I took it. "Okay, let's have this baby."
Even through I was still scared out of my mind. This was my first kid and I guess I wanted it just as much as Pete, No matter the consequences.
