Patrick's Pov

My ankles are seriously swollen. It literally hurts to get up from the couch and go to the bathroom every ten minutes. I've been having trouble with everything, even tying my shoe.

Elisa could care less about me, Her excuse is she is far to busy planning the wedding. I mean she's been planning it for months, and she is still not done. Oh well I could care less how much time I spent with her.

Brendon is actually here today to help me out. Apparently Joe and Andy asked him to take good care of me until they returned from their honeymoon. They called once letting me know they will be bringing a lot of stuff for Jack.

"Okay Trick, dinner is almost ready."

"Thanks Brendon, but I'm not hungry anymore... Thinking ruined my appetite."

He sat next to me and looked at me a little annoyed. "Well you aren't going to eat for you, but for Jack. You can't make him go hungry."

"Umm, well he is the only reason why I eat so much. I mean look at this belly, it looks like I'm past seven months. Is it even possible to be this big!?"

"Patrick your exaggerating, your belly is perfectly normal. Pete read this book saying babies actually want you to weigh a lot."

"Well that's a stupid book, and it makes me feel worse..."

I leaned in and gave me a side hug. "Aw I'm sorry. It's just Pete has been reading a lot about babies and what to expect. He literally tells me new facts everyday I think I memorized some of them."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah. Patrick, Pete loves you and has been thinking a lot about you. He even made one of his rooms into a nursery. He said even when he doesn't get to keep you, he hopes you let him keep Jack for a little while."

"Well I don't have a choice. Jack is his just as much as mine. I want him to have both his dads in his life."

"Patrick, why are you mad a Pete? He would never do anything to hurt you on purpose?"

I shook my head, "I can't tell you... I know you Brendon and you'll straight to Pete and tell him."

"What!? That is not true. I would never do such a thing! I'm a little offended..."

I chuckled, "I'm sorry it's just I can't tell you."

"Trick what if I promise I won't tell him. Then will you tell me?"

I sighed. "I swear you like a child sometimes."

"Please Trick! Pleeasse!"

As he begged I began to smell something burning. "Brendon did you leave the stove on?"

He quickly got up and ran into the kitchen. "Oh shoot! The food!"

When he finally came back from almost burning my house, I decided to tell him the conversation I had with Meagan. Maybe if he knew I could get some advice.

"Now don't tell anyone, especially Pete."

"Patrick I promise didn't I. Besides in a few weeks it's my birthday and I want to celebrate it with you and Jack."

"Thanks Brendon but I'm not in a mood to go out. I really have trouble finding something to wear."

"I knew you'd say that. But I planned ahead and I booked an entire restaurant to ourselves so you won't have yo hide you belly. Besides I own you almost burning your kitchen."

"Well okay then. If that is what you want for your birthday then, I have no other choice."

He cheered happily, "Yay! Thanks, Patrick."
