Pete's Pov

Her again.

"I can never get rid of you, can't I?"

She smiled, "well Patrick is my boyfriend, I don't see why I shouldn't be with him on this special day."

"You don't care about Jack Alexander. Your nothing, but a no good- How did you find out anyway!?"

"Well, I was on my way home when I saw Patrick getting into Brendon's car, so I followed them. I was confused why they we're both at a closed restaurant I waited for a couple of minutes and then Brendon came out the back door and drove off by himself. I was going to check out what happened to Patrick, but then I saw you helping Patrick as he was pain into your car. Naturally I knew you were going to going to take him to the hospital, so I decided to relax for few hours before I came here to meet my cute little baby."

"He's not yours! Neither is Patrick."

She laughed, "Wrong, Patrick has always been mine. You're just a guy that had him for one night... Just imagine Pete how many times I had Patrick in my bed."

It was hard to control myself not to hit her. I never wanted to hurt anyone as much as I do now!

"That one night is all I needed, Elisa. That one night I made Patrick feel things he'd probably never experienced with a fake like you... I doubt you even know how to please a man, considering you're a fake."

"I'm a fake!? You lied to Patrick and because of that he is mine now."

"A lie that you made up. A lie you are trying your twisted mind to believe. That wedding will not take place, I'll make sure you won't be able to say your vows."

"Well the wedding is right after Patrick is out. I'll make sure you won't interfere with my plans... Now if you don't mine I'm going to see Patrick."

No, not while he's in the hospital. In here Patrick is mine, and she's not going to get in the way of that. I stepped in front of her so she wouldn't take another step. I looked over and Dr. Donnie was headed this way.

"Hey Pete, I thought you were with Patrick. I ordered a nurse to put Jack into his room right a way."

"Thanks, yeah I was on my way to his room. Until I ran into Elisa..."

Donnie extended out his hand towards Elisa, "Nice to meet you I'm Patrick's doctor."

She shook it willingly, "Hello, so you helped Patrick though every step?"

"Yup, I was really happy to do so, cases like these are rare."

She nodded, "Well then it was nice to meet you, but I really must go see Patrick."

"Oh, but wait a minute Miss Elisa. I don't think Patrick put you on the list."

"A list?" she asked.

"Yes, like I said Patrick's condition is rare. He required a lot privacy and only a number of people know about his condition. Patrick himself filled out a list of people that could come in contact once he gave birth. I'm afraid your name isn't on it."

"That's ridiculous! I'm Patrick's soon to be wife, I'm allowed to see him!"

"Not unless he signs for you to be authorized. If you try to go inside Patrick's room I'll have no choice but to call security to escort you out."

"I don't believe this! What about him? Patrick probably didn't put his name on that list!" She yelled.

It was hard for me not to laugh at this point. I really wished I could record her expression right now. She was pretty much making a complete fool of herself.

"Actually, Pete's name is the first one Patrick wrote. He told me that he didn't care if his other friends or family members couldn't see him. That he just wanted Pete by his side."

Elisa was furious at that and before she could say anything else she turned her heels the other direction and walked away.

I smiled, "Thanks Donnie, for that. Although you didn't have to make all that up."

"Oh, you thought I was lying? Pete, Patrick actually did make a list of the people he wanted here. And he talked to me about Elisa and how he didn't want her here the day his baby was born... Something about ruining the mood."

My smile just got wider. Patrick actually wanted me here more then anyone else. "Thanks Donnie."

I ran towards Patrick's room and he was already up bottle feeding Jack. "Hey look who came in Jack, your daddy."

I really loved the sound of that.
