~Grace~

Nothing much happened that day, except for Tyler avoiding me. And it was horrible.

Last day came by and we were on our way to the airport in a bus, I sat beside Emma and, purposely, in front of Tyler. Just for the sake of mischief, I started kicking his seat. How mature. He rewarded me with a sigh that escaped his plumped lips.

When he discovered that I won't quit this very entertaining practice, he groaned and faced me.

"Will you stop?" He hissed.

"Stop breaking your heart? No, of course I can't. Stop kicking you? Sure. But stop killing you? Nope, never," I folded my arms neatly.

He turned his face away, ignoring me.

I smirked in response.

---

Sitting in the airplane, waiting for our take off, which is in about 15 minutes, I was frustrated that Emma wasn't sitting beside me, yet my school mate who's supposed to be seated by my side hasn't appeared.

Guess the one sitting alongside me will have to do.

~Tyler~

"Thanks, Andrew," I shook hands with the history teacher.

He smiled and nodded, "anything for our young Alpha, enjoy the flight with your mate."

I smiled back and made my way to my respective seat. When Grace saw me, her jaw was touching the floor.

"34B, right?" I asked, containing my smirk.

"You've got to be kidding me!" She exclaimed.

I ignored her and sat, fastening my seatbelt.

It will be a long flight.

---

"Tea? Coffee? Any drink?" A stewardess asked with a smile.

"I'll have tea," I smiled.

"And you dear?" She asked Grace, she shook her head.

I want to talk to her. And I know how to. But it won't be pretty.

I spilled my tea on her shirt, or what I thought was her shirt. I accidentally spilled it on her arms.

She hissed in pain, "what the hell, Tyler?"

My eyes widened, "I'm sorry. Oh my, God, I'm so-"

"Save it," she snapped.

I took her arms but she tugged it away, "what now?"

I rolled my eyes, "we're mates, Grace. We're part of each other, I can sooth it."

She fakely gagged, making me chuckle and I rubbed my palm over her arm, causing tingles and shock.

She muttered a 'thank you' and went back to her business as if nothing happened.

At least we talked.

---

We reached the airport and I greeted my parents. Grace's father nodded in my direction and mouthed 'Alpha'

Grace seemed to notice and I don't think Nate would get away from it.

"How do you know him?" I heard her question.

"Lets dicuss this later, shall we?" Nate, her not biological father, said.

But she wasn't accepting later.

She came up to me, "you're coming."

"Why?"

"Because I have a gut feeling you know something to do with all this." She retorded.

I shrugged and walked over to her parents. After exchanging greetings, Grace told her parents that I was joining them home.

---

Car ride was awkward, but once we were seated around the coffee table, it switched to nervousness.

"Care to explain how Tyler knows dad?" she asked no one in particular.

"Grace, we have something to tell you," her mother sounded sincere.

I feel like I'm invading their privacy at that moment.

"I am not your biological father," Nate chocked out the words, which may have felt like venom to Grace.
