Jazmine's Pov.
College isn't as hard as I thought it would be. Sure, I have more homework and there might be a few more snotty people, but I'm away from my parents. I'm away from their curses and arguing.
I dress up in my blouse and blue jeans with converse sneakers. I hesitate, but do it. The hardest task ever.
I straighten my hair.
Ok, I know it sounds silly, but trust me, its harder than it looks. After an hour, my hairs long and wavy up to my waist. I grab my car keys and purse before leaving my dorm.
I walk out to the campus parking lot where I enter Jaztastic. My lovable red Kia. Dad got it for me after I graduated from Woodcrest High. I think it was a way of apologising for everything. I told him he couldn't buy me, but took the car anyway.
I put on my shades and push some hair behind my ear. I start the engine and drive back to Woodcrest. Back home.
I park Jaztastic on my dad's driveway and walk out of the car. I shake my hair out. I walk into the house and I'm immediately greeted by my mum. She squeezes me.
"Hi to you too ma!" I laugh.
She pulls away. "So hows college treating you?" She asks.
"Really good actually," I grin like a maniac. I've missed my mother.
"So, how longs your spring break?" She asks.
"I'll just be here a month," I tell her. "Hows daddy?"
"Same old," she says dully.
I smile sadly at my mum. I'm aware that shes sexually frustrated. I heard her scream that to dad one time. It was very disturbing.
After catching up, I walk over to the Freeman house and knock on the door. The door opens and I smile.
"Dayuuuuum...Jazz?" Riley bites his fist. His eyes linger around my breast, move down to my shorts and move back up to my breast again.
He isn't so skinny anymore, now hes buff. He still has those same cornrows, but longer. Both his arms are tattooed with the words 'Esco' or 'Young Reezy.' And he dresses in that same baggy t-shirt with his jeans.
I pull off my shades and shake out my hair. "Hello, Riley," I say seductively.
I pull him into a hug, before his hands explore my bottom I pull away again and pat him on the chest. "Nice try."
Riley lets me in and I sit on the couch. "You look good, Jazz." He sits down next to me and licks his lips.
"Thanks. Nice tattoos."
He shrugs. "Thanks. Granddad don't agree though. So, how are you? Haven't seen you in months."
"I'm Ok, actually. I'm doing good, you?"
"Better."
"Hows Huey?" I ask.
Riley sighs. "I haven't seen that nigga since he moved out."
"Oh I heard. He hasn't told me his new address. Do you know?"
"He does, but...I shouldn't tell nobody."
I pout. "Please..." I shift closer to him. "With a chewy on top..." I say in a childish voice.
Not able to resist my cuteness, Riley nods. "Mkay. He hits me all da time anyway."
I kiss him on the cheek. "Thanks, Riley. That'be awesome. Maybe tomorrow we'll all meet up, too, for lunch. You, me, Caesar, Cindy and Huey...just like before."
Riley nods slowly. "Like the good old days...me n mah homies."
"Yeah..."
It'll be awesome to be reunited with my gang. I can't wait till I see everyone.
