When we got to school, I showed Bryan where the office was. "So, you are Mikala's cousin?" The headmistress asked. "Yes, I am." Bryan said. "What is your name young man?" The headmistress asked. "My name is Bryan Jones, mam." Bryan said. 'What grade are you in?' The headmistress asked. "Same as Mikala." Bryan said. "Ok, here is your schedule." The headmistress said. After Bryan and I looked at his schedule he said, "Let me see your schedule he said, "Good, we have the same schedule well except for 3rd hour." Bryan said. I laughed. "Ya, I guess." Bryan's face was inches from mine. "Hey Mikala." Susan said. Immediately Bryan and I backed up and pretended nothing happened. "Hey Susan." I said. "Who is this handsome hunk?" Susan said. "I'm Bryan, Mikala's cousin." Bryan said. "Funny, Mikala didn't mention you at all." Susan said. "Well, I am a cousin on her um dad's side." Bryan said. "Your kidding me right? You guys aren't dating or something are you?" Susan asked. "We are not kidding you we are cousins. You can ask my parents." I said defensively. Bryan found it funny since he was laughing. "What's so funny?" I snapped. "Noth-nothing." Bryan said trying not to laugh. I stormed off. Bryan ran to try to catch up to me when he finally caught up to me he pinned me up against the lockers. "Mikala look I didn't mean anything. It was just a little joking around that's all." Bryan said. I didn't look at him. Then, I felt a hand on my chin. "Mikala look at me." Bryan said. Then, he made me look up at him, he leaned in and kissed me. What I thought was that it lasted a long time. It actually lasted 5 secs. He pulled away and said, "Did that make you feel better?" I nodded, "Yes, it did." I said. Then he walked to his locker. My lips were tingling from the kiss. I was shocked. "What just happened, Mikala? I thought he was your cousin?" Susan asked. "I have no idea." I said. We both looked down the hallway. Then, we gathered our stuff for 1st hour class, and we started walking to class.
