Pearl

I had woken up today at six, like always.

My sunburn was doing much better, thanks to that stuff Justin's mom packed him. I don't know what I would've done without it. I hope one day I can thank her.

I peeked outside my room around eight, and everyone was still in their respective bedrooms.

I decided to stay in bed for awhile and just read.

I didn't want to go outside and chance running into Justin. I would rather spend as little time with him as possible.

I was snuggled under my covers, reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower, when Justin walked into my room.

I groaned. I was getting really into the book, and all I wanted was to keep reading it.

"Hey. It's me."

When I looked up at him, my longing for reading vanished.

Justin was just wearing loose, gray sweatpants. I licked my lips. He's so damn sexy.

"Hi." I said, placing my bookmark into the book and setting it down on the bed.

He walked closer to the bed.

"Wow. You're already halfway done with it. Impressive."

"Thanks. It's really good." I shrugged.

"I'm glad you like it." He said, smiling at me.

A few moments passed and then he said, "So, I have a surprise for you."

I raised an eyebrow.

"Oh really?" I asked. He nodded.

"Get up, I'll show you."

A little confused and excited, I threw off the covers and stood up.

Justin was staring at me.

I was wearing really short shorts and a tank top with no bra underneath.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Can you stop gawking at me and just show me the surprise?" I asked, placing a hand on my hip.

"Oh, right..." Justin shook his head and walked over to me. He placed himself behind me a little. He covered my eyes with one hand and used his other to guide me to wherever he was planning on taking me.

"Okay," Justin said after we stopped walking, "you can open your eyes now." He took his hand off of my face and I opened my eyes.

On the kitchen table was two bowls, filled with cereal. In the middle of the table was a brown box was a bright red bow on top. I ran over to it.

"No, don't open it. Have your breakfast first."

Urgh!

I crossed my arms and sighed in annoyance.

Justin laughed at me and walked over to a chair, pulling it out for me. I sat down and he pushed it in for me.

Justin then sat down and we started eating our breakfast.

I really liked how Justin didn't make some huge, extravagant breakfast.

I like simple things.

I ate quickly. Once I was done I looked over at Justin.

I waited until I couldn't wait anymore.

"Can I open it now?" He laughed, finishing his last spoonful of Captain Crunch.
